The hotel isn't far from Shuhe Ancient Town and offers a distant view of the snowy mountains. It's designed like a courtyard villa, and the rooms are clean and tidy. They provide airport pick-up and drop-off service, and since it wasn't peak season, they even upgraded my room. It was a really comfortable stay. We were so lucky to choose this hotel! The staff are incredibly friendly, greeting every guest with such warmth that it felt like coming home. My stay at this hotel was truly elevated by the exceptional level of personalised service. When my mother eye was unwell, Huang Xiao Jiao went above and beyond to assist in purchasing medicine. This was deeply appreciated. Additionally, Mr Zhao Xiaomin kindly helped to provide contact who arranged our visit to Yulong Snow Mountain and personally guided us to the station when checking out. Staying at this villa hotel was an absolutely incredible experience! The standalone villa was spacious and airy, and the Naxi-style courtyard was so charming. The price was pretty good value for money considering it was Chinese New Year. The service was okay, and they even offered airport drop-off. However, there were a lot of issues, and it felt more flashy than practical. The villa layout wasn't functional; the rooms were small, but the common areas were huge. The room size was decent, perfect for our family of five (us, our child, and my parents). This hotel is really well-suited for family trips. The environment is quiet and serene, and there were various activities during the New Year. Transportation is also convenient; it's about a 10-minute taxi ride to Lijiang Old Town, and close to all the main attractions. The downsides are that the cleaning staff's thoroughness varied daily – some were very diligent, while others didn't even replace the towels (though if you mentioned it to the butler, new ones were brought immediately. They also helped deliver any takeout right to our door). Also, the breakfast selection was very limited and the taste was just average. Another thing is that the ground floor can get a bit cold at night because there's no air conditioning downstairs. This is a really nice hotel. We stayed in a small villa with a living room, which was perfect for a family with young children. The kids loved it! This hotel is a villa-style resort, with two floors, front and back yards. You can hang your laundry freely and even order food from the hotel restaurant to be delivered to your villa, just like being at home. Although the hotel restaurant doesn't have a huge selection, the dishes are all delicious, and the Crossing-the-Bridge Noodles are particularly good. The location is also excellent, just a few minutes' drive from Shuhe Ancient Town and not far from Lijiang Ancient City. It's also very close to Black Dragon Pool Park. We happened to arrive on the first day of the Torch Festival, so the ancient city was lively, but staying here was incredibly quiet and relaxing.
