The hotel has a great design aesthetic. The front desk upgraded my room, and it was really spacious. Overall, a very satisfying experience.

The room was incredibly clean and beautifully designed in a French style. It's not far from the old town, so we could easily walk or take a scooter there every day. The location is excellent. I'm very satisfied and would definitely stay here again on my next visit.

I found Shiyi Hotel on Trip.com and the pictures looked great. I discovered they offered a free airport pickup if you stayed two consecutive nights. The lady who picked us up told us about many local favorite spots for food and sightseeing. As soon as we arrived at the hotel, the front desk staff were incredibly welcoming, helping us with our luggage and checking us in. They even upgraded our room for free! The entire hotel is beautifully decorated, and the room's cleanliness was excellent; the mirrors were spotless, and the tiled floor added a really nice design touch. We booked a room with breakfast, and the rice noodles were delicious. Plus, you can see the snow-capped mountains from the upper floor! I'll definitely choose this hotel again when I visit Yunnan next time!

Regarding the hardware: I was upgraded to a duplex suite, which was a pleasant surprise, and the in-room facilities and equipment were top-notch! My main feedback is about the service: During my three-night stay, the bed linens were not changed, there was no bottled water provided after housekeeping, the toilet wasn't cleaned, the bath mat wasn't replaced for three days, and the desk wasn't wiped. I hope these areas can be improved in the future.
