Both my husband and I really enjoyed our 3-night stay at this hotel. The location is superb as it is situated within the ancient town, allowing us to walk around anytime of the day, yet it is still easily accessible by taxi/Didi/private car. We took a Didi from Lijiang train station and were dropped off right in front of the hotel, so there was no need to drag our luggage through the cobblestone streets to reach the hotel.
The staff were very helpful and always ready to assist, especially 段宛青, who gave us a tour of the hotel upon our arrival. Although there is no elevator in the hotel, the staff kindly helped carry our luggage to our room.
The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the shower pressure was strong. The hotel also upgraded us to a room with a big window and an expansive view of the ancient town’s rooftops, which we were really pleased with.
Another plus point was the breakfast area, which offers an expansive view of the ancient town’s rooftops. Breakfast was great, with quite a good variety of selections. They also provided us with a complimentary tea time session and a complimentary ethnic costume photography session with makeup for one person.
The free self-service laundry and dryer facilities were also extremely helpful during our stay.
Overall, we honestly have no complaints about this hotel at all and would fully recommend it to anyone visiting Lijiang. If we ever return to Lijiang in the future, we would definitely choose to stay at this hotel again.
