Definitely a must if you want the best views of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. My wife and I stayed one night at Lijiang Shanhai Villa Homestay in October, and it was one of the highlights of our trip. From start to finish, the hospitality and friendliness of the staff really stood out. Special thanks to Xiao Xu, who went above and beyond to make us feel at home — she helped arrange our transfer from the train station, accommodated our last-minute room change request, and even gave us a free room upgrade, which we truly appreciated. Our upgraded room was incredible — spacious, beautifully designed, and equipped with modern smart-home features like automated lighting and preset room settings. The best part, though, was the floor-to-ceiling windows offering unblocked views of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain and the lake. We even caught the golden peak early in the morning — simply breathtaking! We took so many photos and videos of the view — perfect for sharing on social media (and making our family back home a little jealous 😄). The second-floor café was also lovely, offering free breakfast (with three set options), complimentary afternoon tea, and even hotpot for dinner if you wish to dine in. There’s also a special viewing platform on the second level, perfect for mountain photos, and the staff can even help take professional pictures. Overall, my wife and I were extremely satisfied with our stay and would highly recommend Lijiang Shanhai Villa Homestay to anyone visiting Lijiang — especially if you want comfort, great service, and unbeatable views of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain.

Service and room view was impeccable! Homestay includes free afternoon tea , hair wash for one and laundry. Room is roomy and promise of sunrise peaks but we did not see any promising sunrise as the weather was bad during our stay. The downside is also the location - relatively remote with no food options and only a small local mart - had to rely on food delivery. All in all, I feel that it is too pricey given the remote location, only good if you need a getaway from the buzz of Lijiang old town.

An amazing experience at Lijiang Shanhai Villa Homestay. The view is incredible, the staff are helpful. Not overly enthusiastic to bother you but just the perfect level of support and assistance. The coffee is great, highly recommend if you are someone who drinks multiple coffee’s a day!

Compared to the other properties in the area, Shanhai Villa seems to have the best view of 玉龙雪山. The service is also impeccable but expected of the price. The heated water system was down for repairs and i couldn't take a warm shower before checking out, the staff kindly offered to extend my check out to give sufficient time for me to shower.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The rooms are beautifully designed, modern, and very comfortable. Waking up to a direct, unobstructed view of the snow-capped mountains from our window was absolutely unforgettable. I highly recommend this hotel for an amazing and picturesque getaway.

The guesthouse is ideally located very close to Lijiang Old Town, making it super convenient for sightseeing and getting around! It's a spacious, four-story property with a wonderful ambiance. The afternoon tea and breakfast provided are both delicious and generous, offering a wide variety of choices. You can even lie in bed and enjoy views of the snow-capped mountains 🏔️ – highly recommended!

Had a beautiful afternoon tea in Lijiang, and to top it off, we could even catch a glimpse of the 'Sunlit Golden Mountain' ⛰️! The hotel's location is incredibly convenient, just three to four kilometers from both Shuhe Ancient Town and Lijiang Ancient Town. The views from the room are fantastic; on clear days, you can truly appreciate the 'Sunlit Golden Mountain' phenomenon. Both breakfast and afternoon tea were delicious. The tiramisu served during afternoon tea was exceptionally tasty – highly recommended! 👍

The rooms offer direct views of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, and you can access the bridge directly from the back entrance. The scenery is absolutely stunning! The service is exceptional; they even offer hair washing services by appointment, and the breakfast rice noodles are delicious too. I'll definitely stay here again on my next trip to Lijiang!

My good friend and I stayed at this hotel in Lijiang. The location is excellent, just a few kilometers from the Old Town. The room was beautiful, with a view of the snow-capped mountains. The butler was incredibly thoughtful and provided excellent service; they even reminded us of the next day's sunrise time and set an alarm for us. We were lucky enough to wake up and see the mountains at sunrise! It was so relaxing to just gaze at the snowy mountains from our room, or head to the common area for afternoon tea and take some wonderful photos – the setting was absolutely perfect for pictures. Breakfast was delicious, and the complimentary goodnight dessert 🍧 was a lovely touch! 😌

On vacation in Lijiang with friends, choosing this hotel was undoubtedly the best decision. The room itself was absolutely fantastic, boasting huge floor-to-ceiling windows. I felt like I could easily spend the entire day inside without ever needing to step out. The outdoor scenery was breathtaking; the blue skies and white clouds felt incredibly close. If you wake up early enough, you can even catch a glimpse of the snow-capped mountains just opposite! Both the afternoon tea and breakfast spread were also excellent and plentiful. I will absolutely be staying here again on my next trip to Lijiang!

This stunning cafe was the best money I spent in Lijiang! With direct, breathtaking views of the snow-capped mountains, it's truly beautiful. Spending an afternoon just unwinding and daydreaming here is incredibly relaxing. Their afternoon tea is exquisite, and they also offer a selection of light meals. The atmosphere is wonderfully peaceful, and the staff are incredibly warm and welcoming. They even proactively offered to take photos for us! A truly fantastic experience.

Exceeding All Expectations by the Snow Mountain Lake Our two-day family stay with the kids at Lijiang Shanhai VILLA truly exceeded all expectations, from the impeccable cleanliness to the outstanding service! The 180-degree unobstructed balcony, boasting breathtaking views of the snow-capped mountains and lake, had our children excitedly pointing out the 'golden mountain' phenomenon every morning as the sunrise cast a radiant glow over the peaks. Our entire family managed to capture stunning scenic photos right from our room. The amenities were an even greater highlight – the heated pool meant even our child, who usually gets cold easily, could happily splash around. And the stargazing telescope on the terrace became a wonderful nightly parent-child learning experience. Every expectation we had for this family getaway was not only met but surpassed. Our child even kept asking 'when are we going back to our Lijiang home?' after we got back. We wholeheartedly recommend this place!

I'd often seen this guesthouse pop up online, and I finally got to stay at the place I'd been dreaming of. The balcony is absolutely massive! Open the window, and you're greeted by mist-shrouded mountains, resembling a serene landscape painting – utterly therapeutic. On a clear day, you can even witness the spectacular 'Golden Peaks' (sun-kissed mountains) phenomenon right from your bed – it's absolutely stunning! Plus, the entire guesthouse features smart voice control, making everything incredibly easy. They even provide thoughtful amenities like makeup remover wipes and laundry detergent, so you can truly just arrive with your personal belongings. The host is incredibly attentive; they deliver afternoon tea right to your room and can even help capture stunning photos. The location is fantastic, right on the edge of the ancient town, making it incredibly convenient for exploring and dining. Seriously, don't hesitate – book it!
