This guesthouse in Lijiang was a hidden gem, offering an incredibly relaxing and rejuvenating stay that completely exceeded all our expectations! The hosts were incredibly warm and welcoming. As soon as we arrived, they helped us with our luggage, brewed local Pu'er tea for us, and shared many insider tips on less crowded routes, helping us avoid the typical tourist traps. Our room was spotlessly clean, with a subtle, pleasant scent of wood from the furniture. Opening the window, we had a lovely view of the bougainvillea and flagstone path in the courtyard. Waking up to the sound of birdsong in the morning was simply delightful. The bathroom had excellent wet/dry separation and plenty of hot water. After a refreshing shower, curling up by the window with a cup of tea and enjoying the view was the perfect embodiment of the slow living we'd always dreamed of. The location was also incredibly convenient, just a few minutes' walk from the heart of the ancient town. We felt very safe returning to the guesthouse after enjoying the night scenery. Plus, they offered complimentary laundry service – truly attentive to every detail! We'll definitely choose this place again on our next trip to Lijiang!

We are an elderly couple travelling free and easy to Yunnan. The owner, aka十三少 (many siblings and cousins work together) connected with me before my arrival vi wechat. He met us at the entrance to the Lijiang ancient city and used a trolley to carry our luggages (passing clobbered grounds) to the inn, which was just a very short walk. The location of the inn was great, just at the edge of the ancient city and offered a quiet stay. The room was spacious, equipped with a shower area and a bathtub too. We also did our laundry inside the room as there was a mini washer/dryer inside our room. We felt relaxed staying at this inn, chatting and drinking tea with 十三少. He even invited us to a supper of barbecue at night. The shop next door also belongs to the owner and they sell reasonable priced teas and other stuff. My husband saw and bought good quality cordyceps from him (btw he did not hard sell to us). Overall we enjoyed our stay and would stay here again if we visit Lijiang.
