Résidence Odalys le Hameau du Mottaret

Stayed here in January 2026 with my two sons. The only good thing about this hotel is its location. Everything else is poor. Feels like it was built in the early 1980s and no maintenance work has taken place since then. Our room was dirty, small and impractical. Used underwear left in the room from previous customers. Dirty floors and walls. Very small kitchen area and only two sockets in the entire apartment. No socket for kettle, you have to balance on top of the bin for it to reach the socket! They didn’t not provide any kitchen supplies such as dishwasher tablets or cloths. Towels were also not provided and could be purchased from the rude reception for 10 euro each! We traveled with crystal ski. They have allways been good in the past and cannot not fault the excellent local reps. This hotel however is not really fit for purpose and needs lots of money investing to bring it to standard. Also a change of staff or at least retraining would not go amiss! Spoilt an otherwise great holiday.

Positives: 1: The location is good and is almost ski in/out on the green run to the centre lifts. It is approximately 50 yards walk from the ski room to the slopes. 2: There are good services in the apartment block. A couple of bars, a well stocked small shop and ski shops. 3: There is a pedestrian lift that runs from near the reception to the centre of mottaret into the evening Negatives 1: the apartments are very dated and would benefit from some new furniture and decorating and modernising. They have the potential to be very good apartments but need some updating. 2: As is common with ski apartments they are quite small. There were only 2 of us in an apartment for 5 people. Whilst this was suitable for us anymore people and it would have been a struggle for space. There is limited storage space for clothes/equipment and also the kitchen area was very small. 3: Halfway through our stay the hot water was broken for 24 hours.

Great apartment , had everything we needed , we were above the bar but didn't even realise it until we saw the bar from outside, hot tip take a large shopping bag on check in , you will be given your bedding pack and kitchen cleaning pack at check in , hard work trying to carry it all under your arm whilst carrying ski bag and suitcase .

A terrible company. No help and don't care about people or what happens to them. The appartment above me has a water leak and they are no help.

We were placed in a different appartment than the one we contracted and in a different building but specially the attention received from the Odalys team was absolutely disappointing

Great ski in ski out location with supermarket restaurant bar and ski rental all 2mons from the room. Super easy, all you need for budget ski break.

I have been staying at Odalys' Le Hameau for many years and I am never disappointed. Accommodation is always clean, warm and in a great location for a ski/snowboarding holiday. Would highly recommend for anyone wanting to go self catering.

We had a great stay in both a 4 and 4/5 person room. The 4/5 person had a significantly larger kitchen so would definitely recommend that if you are planning on cooking multiple larger meals for the group. Location is amazing, truly ski in ski out! Would definitely stay again!

Great location right next to the slopes. Nearby grocery store, restaurants. A great ski area for advanced skiers. No wifi in the room (only at the reception), mobile data worked tragically in the evening (Orange). Only the distance from the Czech Republic (1,400 km) :-)
