San Lazzaro

What a nice hotel and friendly staff. We stayed here for a week and can recommend it. The room was nice and clean and the view from the balcony was just stunning. Two or three things you need to know: 1. Parking the car could be a bit funny as the apartment complex is on a steep hill. Our car didn't make and so a friendly staff member helped us getting the car up there. The second time we could manage but it is not easy, especially for bigger cars. There are only 7 parking lots up there. The good thing: downhill, across the main road is a little olive garden There you can easily park bigger cars. 2. Don't expect a well equipped kitchen. We had only some basic things there but the staff is so nice and you can ask them and we are sure they will find a solution. Cooking big meals is not really possible as the kitchenette is too small for it. So we are happy to be here and enjoy our hols with 40 degrees yay hehehe

We spent a great time there in June 2023, and it was fantastic! We had so much fun being on top of Nydri since the location is on the mountain - was just amazing to see the see from our balcony and experience a splendid view to the boats and ships that pass through the sea. It was really worth spending 9 days there, the host is super nice and organized: they offered us a nice breakfast and they took care of us. There were Eirini and Marina and the two ladies were super nice and helped us whenever needed and promptly. The apartment is cleaned on a daily basis - the cleaning ladies are super polite and one of them used to bring us the breakfast until our room and it was generous from her side to wait until we go outside in order to clean the apartment, without disturbing us. The check-in and the check-out were very easy, since they are always inside the location. They even gave us the sun umbrella to take to the beach during our stay! When we had a tour in Nydri, we found out that we have been lucky choosing this place and we totally recommend it :)

I really like the location of the accommodation, not too far from the center. That was the main point. The accommodation was what we expected, a clean, decent room. Kind and helpful staff. Breakfast could be a little more varied. We will be happy to come back another time, if we choose Lefkada. Thank You.

On our arrival er were allocated a different room than expected. Contacted the owner Eirini who immediately rectified the issue. She asked as to pay a city council tax which was 3 times higher than the price mentioned on our invoice by **********. When challenged she said not to worry. We were given a twin room on the top floor with beautiful views of Nydri. Very limited selection of cutleries and dishes as well as an el. kettle is provided. There was no soap, shower gel or a shampoo at the property. There is no dish drying tray, no teatowel and no washing rack to hang your washing. Sadly, we did not get the feeling that the owner cares much. The property is about 20-30 mins from Nydri Town Hall and the centre of the town incl the harbour. It is clean and the views are amazing!

We stayed in a studio with a great view of Nidri, the sea and surrounding islands. We were very impressed with the cleanliness of the accommodation. The room was cleaned daily , which included the bed being made and the bins emptied. We stayed 5 nights and had a fresh change of sheets and towels during that time. It was good to have mosquito nets on the balcony doors and efficient air con. I would especially like to thank Katerina and Irini for helping us with our flight cancellation problem on our last day. Great hosts. There is a steep climb to the accommodation, hence the fantastic view. We were aware of this before our stay but it might be an issue if you have mobility problems.

Great place to stay, especially when traveling with kids. The balconies offer breathtaking views. The location is excellent. It’s close enough to walk to the supermarket and cafes. The staff is hospitable and friendly. Next time I visit Leukada, I will stay at San Lazaro again. I highly recommend!

We didn't like the hotel! The window of bathroom of the neighbours was in our terrace! The owner didn't want to pay comission to ***********, so we had to cancel our reservation there and make one to her. The breakfast was poor. We had just one egg per person. We had a reservaton for three nights, but we wanted to leave after the first, but the owner didn't want to return our money, so we called the police. After all we moved to another hotel. I really do not recommend this hotel.

My wife and me were on vacation in Nidri. San Lazzaro was great, clean, interesting. We had a great sea view on balcony, we had a nice a quite room with all accessories.Staff was very polite and helpfull. They helped us rent a boat and go on cruise of Ionian Islands. We will be back for sure!
