We qere going on a cruise sonwe stayed here the night before. We always choose Wyndham because of the beds. They are usually very comfortable. Our room had an old mattress that was not the Wyndham standard we are use to. Other than that it was fine. There's a Cracker Barrell within walking distance and easy on and off the highway.

I posted up here for a week while my little guy attended space camp at the Space Center. On the surface, this is a great resort in a great location. There are tons of restaurants in the vicinity, a grocery store, just about everything you would need. However, staying numerous nights here started to show that beyond the surface this place is going down the drain, despite having so much potential! First off, a few nights in I was having dinner in our room which I had picked up at a local restaurant when all of a sudden a live cockroach walks out from under the bed and damn near across my foot. I called the front desk and informed them - they sent a repair guy who was as confused as I was as to what he was going to do. He told me it was a housekeeping issue. Thus, I went to the desk and showed a manager the pictures of the insect, along with the mold/soap scum I had turned my head to for days. She insisted on moving me to another room and comped one night of our stay. Moving rooms with a 6 year old was an unnecessary headache, but the manager did got out of her way to assist. Low and behold, she leaves my new room and no more than 5 minutes later I step in a wet stain next to the bed - who knows what it was. I was not about to move again, however, so I put a towel over it and pushed through. Total disappointment. Beyond the room, the pool bar had been emptied by the party on Sunday - a very lively crowd! It took the staff until Thursday to even get around to re-stocking, leaving the bartenders scrambling to try and make drinks. This was also the first week since Covid they opened the pool bar on Monday and Tuesday - not a great first impression! One shining light of the resort is the fitness center. Although not connected, as a hotel guest you can use The Fitness Center a short walk away. This is a great facility with ever amenity you may need. I was impressed with this perk. Sadly, I would stay here again if we did Space Camp again as it is a great location and has a better pool than the few other hotels nearby. I just hope the management realizes the potential and can turn around this sinking resort!

Stayed here not for pleasure but a place to lay my head because my child was admitted in the hospital. I just needed a place for a night due to it being so late. The front desk clerk was awesome as well as all the front office people. they made you feel at home and was able to help me find a place to eat and offer any assistance with whatever was a need or concern for me. The only thing that was a bother and I have to say a bother was that I was in a room that AC was putting off some mildewey smell and not cooling very well. I didn't bother to complain because the staff was such sweethearts and I knew I would only be there for a night. But as for my stay I was comfortable for the most part. Will I return again, absolutely. As a matter of fact I have a reservation to be there on September 2nd. Hopefully I'll get a room with a better functioning AC. I will definitely recommend others to stay here, it's worth it.

We both enjoyed our stay here in League City. Hotel is clean, convenient location and friendly staff. I wanted to leave a sincere thank you to Edna for the customer service she provided us on our recent stay. I accidentally selected a room with two beds instead of a king. Edna was able to accommodate and was very courteous and professional. Thank you Edna!
