We stayed here for two nights and looked at the reviews after booking and were worried expecting the worse. We were pleasantly surprised. Our room was clean, bed was comfortable. Decent white bedding. We were on the back of hotel so nice and quiet It’s not the ritz but it’s a good standard for 2 star quite similar to many 3 stars we’ve stayed at. Nice big room with fridge microwave 2 ring hob. Next to train station and only 20 minute walk to the old town so good location. Parking free outside from 7 pm to 9 am but plenty of paid parking nearby. Reception staff friendly and helpful. For a cheap and cheerful I’d stay again.

Lovely old insurance building with impressive stained glass in the grand staircase windows. Excellent open private parking, shared with Ibis. Use intercom at gate at 22 Rue Erpell behind hotel and they will open it. Initial corner Privilege room 315 was 28C in May heatwave and aircon had no effect despite technician’s efforts. However the lovely staff found another much cooler Privilege room 323, which was fine, if a bit dark. Room decoration drab, with no pictures on the walls, but good bed, plenty of storage and nice bathroom with bath/shower. Big TV, but no channels in English. Good WiFi. Good breakfast selection , but limited dinner menu and wine list in soulless restaurant with average food and sketchy service. Staff generally delightful, particularly at Reception. A fairly easy walk to the main square and the lovely old town and cathedral.

Stayed overnight travelling from Calais onto Bordeaux. Check in was smooth in English, Lisa at reception was very helpful. Hubert was extremely helpful and apologetic as the restaurant was closest due to Sunday. The hotel is exceptionally clean, rooms have a kettle, unlike the ones which follow from this review. The room is big enough for 2 and all the luggage. 10/10 for an exceptional place and a stopover. Burger King around the corner, you will need your NHS QR code before entry. We went to BK as we had a beer at the hotel and didn't want to risk driving.

Literally a few steps from the inner city train, this was the perfect place to crash after a long day of traveling. Warmly greeted at reception, our room was spacious, clean and someone had thoughtful turned the a/c on to greet us on a hot day. Shower hot, great pressure. Plenty of towels and toiletries. Comfy bed. Kettle and coffee/tea supplies in the room as well as a small fridge. Windows open. Wonderful buffet breakfast the next day, at your cost. Eggs, fruit, yoghurt, jams, croissants, breads, etc. Two thumbs up!

Ci vorrebbe qualche indicazione stradale in più, specialmente per quando si arriva di notte. Reception valida e molto accogliente. Camera: andrebbe migliorata la manutenzione, piuttosto scarsa. Peccato perché così non valorizza la pulizia che è buona. Colazione con buon rapporto qualità/prezzo.

Convenient stop-over on way to Costa del Sol from UK (thru Tunnel). Basic but adequate breakfast. Main tram stops were just outside Hotel (great for anyone staying longer). Good Bistro Restaurant within 100 mtrs. Friendly staff. Secure underground parking. Good double glazing - could not hear trams.
