Hotels with Pools in Launceston

A beautiful place, a couple of villas set off from the road (a little tricky to find but Google got us there) which have been expertly and tastefully designed and furnished. Very comfortable and all the amenities one could want. The makings of a continental breakfast (juice, cereal, toast) were in the fridge and cupboard for us as well. We met the owners brefly and they were a pleasant and helpful couple, helping us to make the best of our stay in their town. I just wish the weather had been a little better so that I could have made use of the solar-heated pool! Be aware that there aren't a lot of evening eating options in Longford, particularly in the early part of the week. Our reason for being there was to visit the two estates, Woolmers and Bickendon, and that's worth doing.

Hotel has a good scenery located at the country side. Recommend to have a morning walk at hotel with the twilight can refresh your mind. I saw chicken and possum during the morning walk. The buffet breakfast was highly recommended. They also have a ****** at hotel where you could stay the whole night with your luck !

Very good place. Kids loves it. Place was big, we love it. We just wish the heater can heat the whole place, but unfortunately, it can only heat (warm) upstairs when its really cold. Also, there’s a strong smell when you open the door, between kitchen and toilet/shower room. Can’t describe the smell, but very strong. Also, if you will need to cook, you must bring your own pan/sauce pan as those ones inside the kitchen cupboard was rusty/old. We don’t mind it for 1 day stay though. The rooms are dated, but very clean and the bed was comfortable. They are serviced villas, which was a pleasant surprise! The milk and bathroom amenities were topped up without asking. The staff were friendly and my 2 & 3 year olds adored the “pony” rides. Note for future guests, they are horses not small ponies haha. Great experience none the less and it was just overall fabulous there!
