Seeing this hotel on the website looked good great reviews. On arrival the cleaner took our info she spoke very little English and she kindly showed us to our room. How disappointed we were this was nothing near the photos. The bed were rickety the bedding stained and torn never seen an iron. The blinds were broken and no curtains. The floor was filthy no side lights and tv cables left to dangle. When my partner was outside a huge palm branch fell from a tree narrowly missing her. If she would have been standing in the same position 10 seconds earlier it would have caused her serious injury. Lack of maintenance and due diligence Bey dangerous. This hotel uses well out of date photos to pull the wool over travellers eyes. DO NOT STAY HERE. We paid $333.22 and could not stay in this filth we cleaned the place with wipes and they were all brown with dirt. This was the last straw and we had to leave. So far no refund from the manager and they refuse to speak to the company we booked with.

Our room smelled of old smoke and moust. Just a fridge and a coffee coffemaker. Didn't look like it was cleand properly either room or linnings. Looked more like a old motell. Had a small swimmingpool, but we didn't use it. Non at the reception in evening and nights

This place puts the J in JANKY. The cons: No one there after 5 for issues ( this could be considered a pro ) Beds that are fit only for a Flintstone ( i.e. Rock hard and squeaks like **** ) Pillows are tiny and flat Needed pressure washing 5 years ago Pool desperate for a face-lift. Bath towels double as pool towels Fridge / microwave combo in an unlit closet ( meaning after dark you must use your phone light to see what the heck you're doing) Everything you touch is gonna fall apart in some way. Lighting sucks The shower is SO TINY that when you turn around, your stomach and booty are scraping the walls. Sadly, I could go on with this category PROS: It's only several blocks from the beach This place us more like a hostel than anything else. And when you wake up, you'll likely BE hostile as well, from lack of a decent rest. GO ELSEWHERE, 🤌

The hotel room was filled with Roaches. I had to come home and empty my suitcase on the porch so scared to have brought one home. No one is ever at front desk and they do not change the code to your room and let homeless people live there so anyone of them can come back and get in your room. STAY AWAY

The ownership of this resort was focused on money only with little regard for their client's experience. Their website states that check must be by 10 pm, but due to a delayed flight, I arrive later than that. Knowing this would be the case, I attempted to call them from 4 PM until 6 PM to make them aware of my situation and attempt to work out a plan. No one picked up the phone and I couldn't leave a message. I had my wife and credit card company reach out to them while I was in the air, but they too had no success. Arriving at midnight, with no way to contact them, I booked a different room for the night. The next day I went to the resort to clear up this mess only to find a stubborn owner who would accept no responsibility and who refused to even a partial refund I had paid for the night I did not stay there. Since they refused to refund any money, I stayed there the other two nights of our trip as I didn't have the financial luxury of paying double for my lodging. Beyond all this, there was no staff presence after dinner resulting in loud drunk tenants blasting music from their window to the pool area which is at the center of all the rooms. I'd recommend finding a different place as this place is not run with any sense of integrity or professionalism.

No, this isn’t a fancy resort with new rooms and lots of amenities and things to do. This is a small old fashioned Florida motel. If you can see the charm of it, like we did, you probably have a great time with the friendly staff and nice small garden. If you don’t, you better can search for another place

My family has stayed here two consecutive years for a winter getaway. This is a small hotel not a resort, and the pool is unheated. In 2023 before leaving we wanted to book a 1 bedroom unit, room 205 for February 2025. Iris in the office, said she would have to check with the owner as she didn’t know if booking out that far was possible. After numerous phone calls the owner verified he would book the room but the rate would remain open until time of the actual stay, which we agreed to. In October of 2024 my husband was in the area and went to the hotel and Iris verified out room 205 was on the books for year 2025. Upon arriving and paying for our current stay in February 2024 we again checked on our booking for 2025 and were told we did not have 205 somebody else was in that room. They moved us to a less adequate room and never even told us. We cancelled our reservation for 2025 and will never stay at this hotel again. Our cousins both domestically and internationally were brought by us to stay at this hotel resulting in increased revenue for this facility not to mention our repeat business. This is the worst of business ethics, lying to the consumer and using bate and switch tactics!

Low standard motel is this and nothing else. We are two very experienced travelers both at work and privately. Positive: Newly renovated room Comfortable beds Near the beach Very good cleaning. Negative: Receptionist who thought customers were a nuisance. No heated pool No or poorly functioning kitchen equipment Broken AC, couldn't get heat from it. Responsive between rooms No staff at check-in after 4 -5 PM (Contact the property before you arrive) Does not change the code in the doors to the rooms Broken safe Not sure how often the pool is cleaned. Didn't see anyone for the entire period. Had two rainy weeks at this place. The first week there were two families with children who decided on the spot. Loud well into the evenings no action was taken before we told the receptionist about this. We also tried to cancel because of this. According to our booking we were entitled to this. When we were going to discuss this, we were met by an arrogant Manager who was also unpleasant and aggressive in his behavior. A few days later we asked to change rooms for a room on second floor with less disturbances from courtyard.. After this change, we chose to stay at another hotel for a couple of nights to get some peace and quiet. When we come back, it is freezing cold in the room and we find that the AC does not work when it comes to heating. Goes down and mentions this to the receptionist who is sitting with a winter jacket on, then gets the answer that they only work to cool down. No offer regarding heating elements spontaneously, but only after a direct request they come up with two heating fans. The next problem occurs the next day when our door locks behind us when we are in the room. This also happened when we got the room, the receptionist then was a man. He said it happens sometimes. No attempt was made to replace the broken part then. We had to kick the door open to get out. When we mention the problem to the receptionist, she sighs and wonders why we didn't call their emergency number (it's down by the reception) difficult to call as we're locked in and there's no number in the room. The door wasn’t fixed until the day of check out. This is called Best Florida Resort. This does not qualify as a resort. This is a motel. Title misleading. False advertising. Clarification: *A resort hotel is a facility that provides customers with luxurious accommodation. *A motel, on the other hand, usually doesn't offer those kinds of amenities. It's designed solely to give you a place to sleep and free of all the "extras" I do not recommend anyone to stay more than a maximum of 3 days.

We are a very well traveled couple and stayed here for 2 cloudy and rainy weeks in December 2023. We are very dissatisfied with our stay and do not consider this motel to offer what they advertise in their advertisement. Don’t be fooled by the name of this motel. It is far from a resort. What we did like about this motel was the renovated rooms and the comfortable beds. Except the bedding in polyester. We also liked the cleaning. (Thank you to the youngest of the housekeepers. Long dark curly hair. 30-35 years) What we didn’t like are the following: The person in charge at the reception has zero sense of service. Arrangements for check-in after 4 must be made in advance. Very important! There is no one who can check you in after office hours. The first days we are neighbors with what seems to be a homeless family with 2 small children who bring their luggage in large garbage bags! Loud. Major disturbances. Many kids in the pool who do not follow set pool rules. A lot of yelling and running. High noise level at daytime and impossible to sleep nighttime due to parties in the courtyard. As the staff go home at 4-5pm, there is no one to monitor these problems. Manager has a unpleasant arrogant behaviour on the phone when we wish to check out early due to these issues. Refuses to give refunds for early check out. A few days later we asked to change rooms for a room on second floor with less disturbances from courtyard. Difficulty opening or locking the door in the new room from start. Door knob doesn’t work properly. Staff notices but doesn’t care. More about this later. We decide to rent another hotel a couple of days as we need to get away from the hotel a few days. When we get back there is very cold in the room. Trying to get heat from AC. Not working according to receptionist. ”It only works with cold air due to normal Florida weather” The staff are wearing winter jackets, but do not offer elements or heaters to the guests. Asking for this. The day after our door is locked, so we can’t get out. This happens after office hours. There is no telephone or emergency number in the room. Can't raise the alarm. Had to break open the door! Door frame now broken. Door cannot be opened with the knob. Taped. Staff response ” Why didn’t you call me?” No excuse. We didn’t see any cleaning of the pool during our stay. Lookedhealthily dirty. Kitchen not fully equipped. Dirty pans and cutting boards. The code lock on the door is not changed between guests. This, in combination with the fact that the hotel accommodates homeless people at the hotel, contributes to great insecurity for the guest. Security box in room also broken. This is called Best Florida Resort. This does not qualify as a resort. This is a motel. Title misleading. False advertising.
