Sands Beach Active Resort

Very similar to a large hostel with good bungalows (with a kitchenette, kettle, microwave) many children, many small pools on the territory There is a shop on site (prices are above average), a cafe where you can buy breakfast / dinner The disadvantage is that there is no access to the sea-ocean, as such. (there is a certain bay on the territory, more like a paddling pool) To swim you need to go along the promenade along the sea to the beach

We have just returned from our 4th visit in the Serenity area at club Siroco and have never got round to writing a review so here goes. If you want a peaceful, relaxing and quiet holiday in an adult only hotel then this is the place to go.We have stayed in the 2 bedroom apar**ents on the second floor twice with our daughter but for our visit in December and this visit as it was just for myself and my husband, we emailed before hand to request a ground floor apar**ent as these have their own little terrace with your own sunbeds. We were in room 1111 and didn't get the sun in the morning but did in the afternoon and early evening. The apar**ents are spacious with a seating area, kitchen area, large bathroom and bedroom. They are cleaned every other day and are very adequate for the price-one little thing that we noticed in both the ground floor apar**ents is that the seal on the shower door leaks and is a bit grubby but this is just a little thing that could be put right. The pool area is lovely and is sooo peaceful with no noisy guests or children running round👍We did notice, even though it does say on the information you recieve not to,but there were a couple of guests who laid out their towels every day and didn't use them for hours. This is totally unnecessary as there are plenty of sunbeds for everyone but I suppose you get that everwhere. The hotel ground are well kept and tidy and you will proberbly see the hotel cat in reception most days🐈The hotel is about 15/20 mins stroll to the centre and the lovely square but there are restaurants ,bars and supermarkets on both sides of the road as you walk into the centre. On the left hand side there are two little comercial centres with nice restaurants and bars and there is a promenade with bars and restaurants along the side of the lovely beaches. We used the local buses which are very cheap and if you download the bus app it gives you lots of information. We visited Arrecife and Teguise. Costa Teguise is a lovely resort and we love staying at Club Siroco - I am sure we will return in the future👍

There are supermarkets, many restaurants and car rental shops opposite the hotel, and it is also very close to the beach! Very convenient! The hotel has designed many children's play facilities, and there are performances for children in the evening, which is suitable for families traveling with children! The hotel is moderately close to various attractions and not far from the airport. It is recommended to rent a car for travel.
Barcelo Hotel Teguise Beach - Adults Only

Nice looking hotel with a friendly welcome when we checked in. The Room We had booked a sea view, hot tub room. After reading peoples reviews I sent an email before we traveled asking about sun on the balcony. I was told sun is on the balcony for half the day and we accepted this. This was not true and the balcony did not get any sun. The hot tub is more like a bath and you are overlooked by street passers by. Certainly not worth the money and only used once. The bath took around 45 mins to fill up which is hardly positive for the environment. Tip - room only sea view with open roof balcony. All inclusive? At check in offered all inclusive for €59 each per day. We declined and the best decision we ever made. The hotel is perfectly located and you have a huge range of bars, restaurants and shops on our doorstep. The average large beer cost is between €2\3 and a good quality steak €17 Tip - 100% not Restaurant Nightmare. Total lack of staff full stop. Breakfast. Wacky races. 1. Fight your way into the seating area. 2. Find a table that is not piled high of dirty dishes. 3. Find staff to locate cutlery and a cup for coffee and glass for juice. 4. Only 2 coffee points so wait in a long line then read instructions to work the machine after a time give up and use the filtered coffee next to the machine. 5. Enter the food area and join another long line of grumpy people waiting for the single member of staff servicing eggs, omelettes and pancakes. Very narrow area that also houses bread. 6. Return to table stressed then listen to death row music over and over again. Dinner. Much the same with rather bland similar food each day. Still searching for a table, then hunt down service for cutlery, and drinks. We complained most days as it was simply terrible and very stressful. We got an hour in the spa area which does not cut it. We stopped going as we started and ended the day stressed. Pool areas Very nice. No issues. You can however see the same people reserving a bed at 7am! Seriously they had no shortage. No one to stop them and insufficient staff in any case. Location 10/10. So very central So in short. Nice hotel but major issues that need to be resolved. We go away to relax and this whole situation was wholly unacceptable
