The service is okay, the breakfast service is very good, Fiona has a good attitude and is very friendly, the room is clean, but the shower curtain is a bit smelly, each hotel is different, this one is generally good, I especially like the breakfast chef Fiona. Will book this hotel again next time.

My first impression was of all the litter strewn across the car park, and all the pot holes. The grey, dreary building with the dirty net curtains. The finger stained dirty doors. I actually thought it had shut down. The staff were lovely and helpful and our actual room was clean, but the whole inside needed a revamp and painting. Breakfast was served in a tiny cramped room that needed a good cleaning. Out of the 2 days we stayed, we had breakfast once. Would never return.

As usual room was good. Went down for breakfast which I payed for when booking. All empty tables had dirty dishes on them I picked a table moved dishes to front and they sat there the whole time did not get cleared. Staff were outside smoking. Cook was asked if he had more mushrooms comin I was told no but I can cook some if you want them. The food was terrible. Fresh fruit looked like last weeks fruit. Cook was rude to guests quite blatantly. I have stayed in numerous premier inns all over the country and by far this is the worst I have stayed in definitely will not be back

Travelled up from Nottingham for the stenhousemuir v Bonnyrigg game , after a long day's travel it was really nice to be welcomed by a friendly lady on the check in desk so very helpful... the room was very clean and was fine....breakfast was excellent even though there was a bit of a wait for food .. but it was worth it.. big thanks to the chef and fiona she was amazing..credit to premium inn well done .

Clean and comfortable which is what I'd expect from Premier Inn. Good breakfast too. I'd considered staying in Edinburgh for the night then moving on to Larbert but hotels there are much more expensive. Staff, especially at Breakfast, were very helpful and friendly

This is quite a basic Premier Inn and there is some wear and tear. It does deliver the quiet night , clean room / bathroom, comfortable bed and work station plus internet that mostly connects. There is the standard breakfast buffet in one of the newly restyled Breakfast Rooms full of dreadful punning signs. Staff are very friendly and helpful. But it was so cold in the public areas including the breakfast room which my colleagues also commented about. The room was cold on arrival however you can eventually get the heater to make it a bit warmer.

Nice wee hotel. Friendly staff, average breakfast, but it was hot & staff were so cheery. The receptionist told us to go to The Bruce next door for food & drinks & that was nice. I know they are not linked, so lovely to see some local establishments promoting the other. The recommendation was awesome though, as we loved The Bruce. We will definately be back to the hotel & the pub soon. Great for exploring Edinburgh, Glasgow etc too. Just pop on the train at Larbert station!
