We returned to hotel after Dun Huang and all the services were at usual high standards from cleanliness, wonderful reception staff and adequate breakfast . However, the air conditioning was turned off with central heating on which was uncomfortable — better to allow temperature controls at individual rooms.

Very friendly staff and accommodating to my situation; I was late for check out due to meeting delays, and they were so kind to tell me to get some rest before checking out instead of rushing me. Room was clean and pleasant, too.

Excellent location as only minutes walking distance to Zhengning night market , 15 minutes walk to Zhangye night market , plenty of restaurants around the hotel . The hotel is Super clean and spacious room with smart toilet

Overall it was a good experience. The room was cosy, the beds were comfortable and the hotel is a short walk from the centre of town.
I suggest the following improvements.
1. Provide guests with a map of the area.
2. Train front desk staff so they can advise guests how to travel to the airport.
3. Don't add chilli to every dish at breakfast.

Good location to the night market and city center. Receptionist was very helpful and check in was very smooth. Very good selection of breakfast.

Location near night market. However no parking and difficulty when going in and out of car.
Reception service is lukewarm, slow and not very friendly.
Delivery is allowed to go up to floor, while smoking seems to be allowed in hotel building.

Another wonderful experience at Mercure, but this time is at Lanzhou. The hotel is nice and in a great location, very close to the Zhengning road night market, and there are many restaurants downstairs. The room is clean and spacious and equipped with a smart toilet. The breakfast is rich, and the beef noddles are delicious. Friendly front desk service. Highly recommended.
