I was unaware that this hotel closed at 6pm. I was left a message the afternoon of my reservation by the hotel stating this, but since iI was flying I did not hear the message until after 6pm. When I looked at my reservation I eventually found this information buried on page 3. I also received an email from the hotel the day before confirming my reservation and asking if I would like to add a package to my reservation. Nowhere in that email did it state they closed at 6PM . What hotel closes at 6pm?? Knowing that they were unable to contact me and fully aware that they were going to charge me for the room I would expect this hotel to leave me a note/key near the door for after hours check in. This was not done. I'm sure this would happen frequently. I called the property th following morning and spoke with the desk clerk. He said he would give my message to the manager right away and I should expect a call shortly. No surprise I was never contacted. Early closing time should be in Bold print on the first page! Shame on Saratoga Inn for not including that information on their reminder email. And shame on them for not leaving me a way to get into my room after hoursknowing I would be charge anyway. I guess they must pocket alot of money from peolpe like me who didn't read thr fine print. Don't stay here!
