Excellent location! The pool is great and very suitable for kids and families. My room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was average and could be improved. However, having breakfast while facing the beach and ocean was a really nice experience.

The location is excellent for this hotel. However, improvement needed in customer relations and cleanliness.

Checking in was slow due to only one person in charge. The management should consider putting in more staff at the reception area. The rest are ok. Good breakfast and great location.

Strategic Location Positioned with predatory precision in a high-value nexus, leveraging geography as its sole predatory advantage- pantai chenang. Facility Degradation Management exhibits a deliberate neglect, requiring a comprehensive overhaul from family room to sublevel infrastructure—a calculated deferral that prioritizes extraction over elevation. Pricing Predation Reliance on locational supremacy enables unchecked escalation of tariffs, a ruthless monetization strategy unbound by restraint or reciprocity. Accommodation Substandard Guest quarters manifest chronic disrepair: pervasive mold infiltration, corroded bidet plumbing, granular sand accretion across surfaces, faltering and obscured downlighting, alongside eroded paint and fractured tiles—silent testaments to systemic abandonment. Response Inertia Notifications dispatched to maintenance escalated without acknowledgment; by departure on day three, intervention remained a phantom promise.*sigh* Amenity Oversight Not even a single sejadah provided across our allocation of three rooms—a glaring omission in baseline provisioning. Heaven forefend: executive oversight must redirect from voracious revenue harvesting—enabled by locational arrogance, edifice crumble under its own insatiable greed.

Great location right in the center of the tourist area, with plenty of cafés and restaurants around, which makes it very convenient. The hotel also has a small swimming pool and direct access to the beach, which was really nice. Just keep in mind that there is a 100 RM deposit required at check-in.

We stayed for 4 days & 3 nights for my birthday and had a wonderful experience. The rooms were clean, and the service was excellent. The location is fantastic—right on Chenag Beach—with a stunning view of the sunset. Overall, it’s great value for money and highly recommended! ✅

Review for Malibest Resort Great beachfront location, but very basic facilities I stayed at this hotel for three nights. The biggest advantage of this place is definitely its location. The hotel is literally right on the beach and situated in one of the most convenient areas of Langkawi. It’s only about 10–15 minutes from the airport and within easy walking distance of many restaurants, cafés, shops, and convenience stores. The hotel staff were very friendly, polite, and helpful, which made the stay more pleasant and welcoming. However, there are some noticeable issues with housekeeping. Although the room looks generally clean at first glance, the cleaning standards could definitely be improved. During my three-night stay, the bed sheets and duvet covers were not changed and were mostly just rearranged. The bathroom also appeared to be rinsed rather than properly cleaned. The breakfast is quite simple and limited, so it’s better not to expect much from it. Overall, considering the price, the hotel offers reasonable value mainly because of its excellent beachfront location. If you choose to stay here, it’s best to think of it as a simple place to sleep rather than a full-service hotel with high standards.

This hotel is close to a nice beach and also has a swimming pool. However, the rooms are quite bad – old and outdated, and the air conditioning wasn't working well. The front desk service was also mediocre. There were two staff members; I was in line, but one of them kept ignoring me until a foreigner came up, and then immediately asked them if they needed anything.

The hygiene was so-so, and the pool was very slippery. You absolutely must keep an eye on your kids – safety first! On the bright side, the location was very close to the sea.

Environment: If you're particular about hygiene, look elsewhere. The bedsheets had numerous unwashable yellow stains. Even with my clothes on and using a disposable sheet, I still got several bites on my legs. Thankfully, the price was good enough to overlook it, just for a quick wash and rest. Convenience: The room numbers weren't actual numbers but confusing English names. No one showed us to our room; the front desk staff just waved their hand towards a row of cabins and told us to find it ourselves. My partner and I spent an hour searching on the beach. Soundproofing: There's virtually no soundproofing. I could hear the rustling sound of slippers from the next door walking. Just as I fell asleep at night, someone started setting off 300 firecrackers on the beach. The air conditioning was as noisy as an exhaust fan. Surroundings: The Maybank ATM didn't support UnionPay, and it weirdly couldn't recognize my Mastercard either. The deposit required 100 in cash, but they actually charged 113.
