The motel provides basic accomodation opposite the water. It’s clean, and neat, with a protected pool area. Impressive though, is the motel’s owner. A few weeks prior to our trip, we had contact with him (via phone) due to a change in plans. He was incredibly helpful. Just days before our arrival, he phoned us again confirming our change in plans. He also upgraded our accomodation (due to COVID cancellations). Upon arrival, he knew who we were at check in, and was helpful in storing our kayak (and getting it in and out of storage each day). He was professional and accommodating and nothing was too much trouble.

We stayed in the 2 bedroom apartment, 2 adults and 3 kids and there was plenty of room. We had a portacot set up in our room for our baby and there was still plenty of room to fit around the sides of the bed. The rooms are spacious, clean and have plenty of heating options. They have thought of everything, including iron, ironing board, laundry powder, washer and dryer, etc. We didn't use our car at all the 4 nights we were there as it is close to the main street and beach. Will definitely be back to stay again, highly recommend.

Central location. Clean, neat, and tidy. AND Geoff. Host Geoff was a warm, friendly fellow who was keen to talk, help, and ease us into our week at the motel. Always up for a yarn, he was always available to help and advise. He was good value. The room/apartment was spacious, clean, and offered all we needed. The location was a nice walk to the center of town, which provided shops, a pub, and Woolies...every need met. The experience? It was quiet. Restful. One word? Enjoyable. Would we stay again? You betcha!

Non smoking Apartment. Upper floor. Positives- Great views from the living areas of the lake. 2 x Decent size bedrooms. Very comfortable beds and pillows. Clean linen. Small living area and dining table for 4 people. Small TV in living room. Kitchen has 1x tea towel, cups, cutlery, 1 sponge, fridge, kettle, microwave. All clean. Bathroom with liquid soap and shampoo. Washing machine- bring own laundry liquid. Free parking. Great location. Lake across the road. Aldi 5 minute walk. Cafes within 5-8minute walk. Free wifi. Negatives- no fly screens on the bedroom windows. When we checked in, windows all open. The breeze was lovely however did not like finding insects in the room. Found little spiders in my bed. Also the screen door was broken, which meant it kept swinging back and forth in the wind. Narrow winding staircase to the 2nd floor. Do proceed with caution when carrying bags. Spiderwebs on swimming pool gates as well as the edge of swimming pools. Pools not heated. No spa. Surcharge for 3rd person. Abit pricey, but I guess that’s normal post Covid and since it’s December. Would stay again. Would recommend.

Coastal self-driving stay here for one night, the sunset is very beautiful; unfortunately the time is too hasty, if you can swim next time, you must have more days, catch a crab, come to the bottle of wine. According to the reception person we dealt with, the owner was away and he was filling in, so we have to cut him some slack as dealing with customers was not his strong point. We booked a ground floor room as we always do as we cannot use stairs. Our booking was confirmed through *********** and we also received written confirmation for the room (N0. 4) from the owner via email. However on arrival the receptionist tried to give us an upstairs room which we refused. He claimed no such arrangements for a downstairs room had been made despite us having written proof. He claimed our room (No. 4) had not been cleaned as he was not expecting guests. After much ado we were given a ground floor room which was apparently an upgrade on what we had booked. The room was quite large and well equipped with a large couch and dining setting. It also had a good split system air conditioner. The motel is very well situated in the middle of town within easy walking distance of shops, cafes and the pub. The motel is badly let down with bad parking arrangements. You are supposed to park on an empty lot at the rear of the motel which has no lighting and consists of a grassed area with a muddy gravel track. If you park here you have to drag your luggage some distance uphill via the muddy track to your room. You are forced to park illegally on the street .

We visited here for our only short break from work, 5 days, with the kids on the school holidays just before school started and discovered that the pool shut at 7.00 pm. We paid premium rates to book this place on school holidays, nearly double the amount that is advertised now. Our main draw card for booking was having access to the pool. We do not have a pool at home and we came from heatwave conditions in Melbourne and was really looking forward to this trip. We were all exhausted from work and school and this was our only time off to spend together as a family and we just wanted to relax by the pool. We placed great emphasis on there being a pool and 7.00pm was way to early to shut down a pool. Most of the advertising of this place is based around the pool and that was the basis of us booking this place. If we had known that the pool shut at 7.00pm I would not have spent a penny here and would rather have gone elsewhere. Very Disappointed !!!

We had a portacot set up in our room for our baby and there was still plenty of room to fit around the sides of the bed. The rooms are spacious, clean and have plenty of heating options. They have thought of everything, including iron, ironing board, laundry powder, washer and dryer, etc. We didn't use our car at all the 4 nights we were there as it is close to the main street and beach. Will definitely be back to stay again, highly recommend.

The motel provides basic accomodation opposite the water. It’s clean, and neat, with a protected pool area. Impressive though, is the motel’s owner. A few weeks prior to our trip, we had contact with him (via phone) due to a change in plans. He was incredibly helpful. Just days before our arrival, he phoned us again confirming our change in plans. He also upgraded our accomodation (due to COVID cancellations). Upon arrival, he knew who we were at check in, and was helpful in storing our kayak (and getting it in and out of storage each day). He was professional and accommodating and nothing was too much trouble.
