Room was excellent cafe and restaurant good. Environment great.

Obviously this lodge is in a beautiful location so thats what you're paying for, however its still just a nice cabin, I wouldn't call it a luxury cabin. For the price point it was disappointing. We couldn't use our small outdoor deck area due to its state of disrepair & dirty. The inside is nice, plenty of room & the bed comfortable but thats about it. There is basic tea & coffee available to make in the cabins. There were no water views from our cabin. There is a cafe & restaurant (in the same building) near the information centre. We had a nice meal from the cafe for dinner (burgers & chips which were nice but the drinks from the bar were very expensive). In the morning we were disappointed to learn that we could not get breakfast from the cafe until after 10am. This is when the restaurant stops serving their breakfast. So unless we went into the restaurant & paid a premium for their buffet, we had to wait. They made us a coffee but when I asked for some toast we were told no. Overall this is a beautiful location but for the cost, I wouldn't stay again.

The location on the Lake is amazing, so are the surrounds and walking trails. The cabin was also great, clean,quiet. Good bathroom and shower, comfortable bed. It could do with a couple of colourful pictures on the white walls. The young staff were all friendly. The free breakfast included in our rate was good, just the drinks machine turns out awful coffee, cappuccino as well as hot chocolate. It would be such an improvement to provide hot drinks from the proper coffee maker at the till. We arrived late, got held up in Hobart Hospital due to an emergency and were a little stressed. It proved tricky to contact the hotel reception, calls were not answered. We finally got a response to an email. The envelope with room key was not that obvious to locate if you have never been to the site. The little dark note received had a hard to see number written on it, access code to open the gate for the track to the cabins. In the dark we overlooked it at first and frantically searched everywhere for this code. A little mention in the email would have gone a long way to make our arrival less stressful.

Loved our stay here Great location right by the lake. Lodge is beautiful and cosy. Limited cooking amenities.

Every thing perfect except No WiFi in the cabin and No biggie heater for another room

Absolutely loved our stay here and it definitely exceeded our expectations. Everything was perfect.

Accommodation was fine, but seems over priced to me. It was clean. Breakfast was very good. All staff were excellent.

The Lodge was conveniently located at the entrance of the National Park and accessible to lakeside walk where you can enjoy the sunrise and sunset. The dinner and breakfast provided at the restaurant was great!!

There is a fireplace, and the roaring fire made the rainy Lake St. Clair a lot warmer. There were four of us staying, and the sound insulation was not very good. If you bring enough food, this hotel is very comfortable. There is no Wi-Fi in the room, you can only go to the front desk far away to get it. Very beautiful forest cabin. If you have time, you can hike around the lake.

It is a cabin in the national park. The room is very cold when you enter. You need to light a fire for several hours to warm it up. It is too hot to sleep at night. The heating lamp in the toilet is broken and it is very cold to go to the toilet. The bedroom is on the second floor and the toilet is on the first floor next to the door, which is a bit inconvenient. The water from the tap is yellow and it is still yellow after a long time. No bottled water is provided.

The environment is very good and the cabin is quite comfortable
