Lake Hume Resort

I loved overlooking the water in the premises/ our room looked out to storeroom. Didn’t look like the advertisement. I really wasn’t happy with the room. No table, power points in stupid places , no shelf in bathroom or shower. One not real clean chair to sit on, water running into the basin area when you try to get ready, just common sense stuff that wasn’t there or available.

Stayed here multiple times recently. Beautiful location. Always clean. Very comfy beds. Staff are wonderful. Shanna goes above and beyond to help guests. Would definitely recommended staying here.

It is a stunning location, but the buildings are aging. My motel room was clean and quite comfortable, but old fashioned. Plenty of noise from the other units due to thin walls and doors with negligible security. The shower door had clearly been broken for a while, but it did not matter much as the shower head could barely muster a dribble. Not so good after a day cycling the railtrails. Overall I would go back, as it is not expensive and the location is fabulous. It just really needs a refresh.

Stayed a night in a motel room. Staff were very friendly and lovely. Room was nice, clean and had everything we needed. King bed was pretty comfortable and the pillows were ok. The only issue we had was with the air conditioning being very loud so we couldn’t use it but luckily it wasn’t too cold.

Whilst the staff were friendly and helpful, and the room was clean, the resort is in a desperate need of updating. The outdoor stairs were falling apart and wobbly and the pool area has definitely seen much better days. The lake, however was beautiful, and the resort location was excellent

LAKE HUME RESORT So the place is run down having family living in this area for years I have watched it’s steady decline. I know what to expect when I have to stay here but this was horrible. The final straw was a cold shower. We informed the two females when we checked out and they stated “that shouldn’t have happened there is only one other room occupied up there”. This leads me to believe it is a common occurrence. The shower head was filthy. The shower and bathroom had cracked tiles. There is a wall mounted squeezable soap and shower system. I couldn’t get the soap out to wash my hands. After looking closely I found there was a cap on the bottom of the unit that had been left on. Wonder how many people hadn’t found that cap. The bathroom is still from the original build. I don’t know how the toilet with water issues and knowing the droughts this area has been through over the years can still have the one big full flush. The toilet also “trickled” all night disturbing our sleep. For $130 a night for a king bed I will never stay here again. You can’t blame COVID for this as these issue have been there for years. You can’t blame the droughts either as there has always been enough water in the lake for the tourists to fish and ski. The room room we stayed is was below standard. It was room 24 Photos attached

I recently stayed at Lake Hume Resort. The staff were very friendly and helpful as I was making my booking , with lots of information and instructions . The room was nice and warm , clean and comfortable . And the views outside overlooking the lake were great ! I’ll be staying here again .

Rooms are not dark due to outside lighting shining in doors and windows. Smoke alarm batteries died and beeped all night these should be changed on a more regular basis. No amenities after 5pm no lighting on mini golf or tennis overall disappointing.

Loved how modern the rooms looked, however beds weren’t comfortable at all.. Also not having Breakfast during the weeks was not the best considering it a 15 min drive to the closed food (MacDonalds)
