Hotels with Airport pickup service in Lake Forest

Checked in and asked for a late check out the following day due to late afternoon wedding and we were told they don't do late check outs ever. Entered room and found ants in bathroom along shower and on counter top also hole in wall under sink. Advised person at front desk and he said he would make a note and have it taken care of the following day because he was the only one there. I asked for a different room and he said they were booked. He looked in the room behind the front desk for ant spray so I use it but said there was none. I then told him something needed to be done and to call his manager to get it resolved. Went back to my room and explained this to my wife. At this point we were quite upset. We then decided to leave and get food and when we returned I again asked what was going to be done and was told nothing until the following day. We went back unto our room #211 and tried to relax. After about an hour we decided to go out for drinks and on the way out told the clerk we were very upset and something needed to be done to resolve this but we were leaving for a while and made it clear to stay out of our room until we returned and again he said he couldn't leave the front desk anyway because he was alone. We left and made it to the first traffic light and decided to turn around and go back get a refund and find a different place to stay. We were gone about 5-8 minutes in all. My wife stayed outside while I went in. When I went inside to the front desk nobody was there so I called out for help thinking he was in the room behind the desk but there was no answer. I then went to our second floor room and found the clerk at the door getting ready to enter. He was quite shocked and said he wasn't going to go in then I called him a liar and pointed out the fact he didn't even have any ant spray. He then said I told him he could go in. At this point I was enraged because we made it clear to stay out until we returned. I had even put a sugar packet on the door so I would know if it was opened. He then started walk away very fast and tell me to pack and leave without a refund. When I started to follow him he turned and stopped and we bumped into each other, then he asked I was going to hit him. I assured him I wouldn't . This was all recorded by their cameras. He then called the police and told them I assaulted him and to come evict us and locked himself in the front desk room. My wife in the lobby when the police arrived and he came out. He then changed his story and said it was a misunderstanding. We explained what happened to the police and ended up staying the night. When we returned home I was able to get a hold of the general manager and he refused to any thing about the situation and said the employee was only trying to help us. More lies.

Honestly I’m so confused about the rating that I should give to this hotel. First I’d like to give a big sour out to Marcus (one of the managers there) he helped us with the confusion that the front desk had regarding our complimentary breakfast. We really appreciate his help. The rooms could use a renovation the key were outdated, the screen o our window was broken. The bathroom was outdated as well the sink and bathtub faucets need to be changed. The staff need lots of training, the housekeeping team had to get their manager to communicate with us as they couldn’t speak English (they only spoke spanish) The front desk lady was talking to us while eating and she had lots of partially chewed food in her mouth while talking to us which wasn’t professional and it didn’t look pleasant at all. The person who worked at the front desk at night was so unfriendly and unprofessional when we called him at 1:30am for very loud noises that were coming from above and lasted for a good two hours till around 3:30am. Even when you go for the hot breakfast buffet, the staff who’s in charge for taking your orders and room numbers was aggressive in the beginning and took our orders while he was seated with his legs crossed, we felt like students standing infront of our teacher,,, although he came to us and told us that he knew he was rude and explained that he did that as people previously complained that they should’ve been told the price of the buffet before they ate as they didn’t want to pay. I think all the staff need to lots of training. Hopefully Adam the new manager does something about it, he listened to our concerns and said that he will look into it.

I had family and friends stay at this hotel as we were having my daughter's Bat Mitzvah at the Irvine Improv at the Spectrum. This location was great for our group. We contracted with Madisyn in Sales and she was fantastic! When we were at the hotel, Eric at the front desk helped us all out daily. He seemed to be there day and night! He was made our stay enjoyable and he helped fix some little errors. He addressed us by name and made us feel at home. Eric was amazing! Thank you!

This was the second time we stayed here. Though we checked in late, the front desk staff was still very accommodating and friendly, the rooms were clean and smelled really fresh when we got inside. The TV remote was even wrapped for sanitation. We checked out after 3 days of stay, half way towards LA we find out that my sister left her phone at the room. We immediately called the hotel and spoke with their front desk. They safe kept my sisters phone and when we came back they hand it to us. We really appreciate there honesty. Kudos to all their staff! I highly recommend this hotel when in Lake forest or nearby areas. Enrique

I would have given it a zero rating. The was under renovation now, with dust and ducts and cords scattered around. Front desk was practically non-existent; you need to ring a bell to talk to a staff member. Rooms were SO dirty, with so many stains on the carpet. Smelly bathroom. Stained pillows and towels. AC smelt like homeless shelter. I changed 3 rooms, either because the lights could not be turned on or AC temperature adjustment was down. I never imagined Hilton could have such a place under their brand. The only thing admirable was the front desk staff, always calm and poised at my complaints. Shouldn't such a hotel be closed temporarily for renovation?

The hotel is very comfortable and comfortable. Breakfast with mexed eggs, bacon, sausage and hash brown. yoghurt, juices, cereals of 3 types, fruit, muffins, bagels and 2 types of bread shaped. Ice milk, tea, coffee and waffle machine with various topings. Mini jelly, cream cheese and butter. The room service is reasonable, the reception is well served, the reception is available for coffee and tea all day.

My 11 year old son and I enjoyed this hotel immensely. He said it should be a 5 star. The hot breakfast had many options and was high quality. The evening happy hour had great variety and was tasty. The pool is small but clean. Basketball court and outdoor area provide nice relaxation areas for families. Our favorite part was the ping pong table in the (free!) laundry area. We borrowed the paddles and played often! Super fun. Nice staff, too. Pillows were high quality and comfy. The bed was a bit hard but that’s my only semi- negative aspect of the review. Satellite tv was a little glitchy. We would def stay again. Great area close to many restaurants and stores for essentials.

The room is big, clean, good service, fully furnished, and the swimming pool is nice and quiet. There are many restaurants across the road next to it. Fly in the ointment, there is no view from the window

Brand new hybrid hotel (Hampton Inn on one side, Homewood Suites on the other - both excellent travel hotels) with convenient freeway on and off access, free parking in covered or open air parking spots. My room was literally next to the I-5 North freeway exit, yet I did not hear any road noise in the room. Front desk staff were friendly, courteous and efficient. Breakfast was hot - with a wide variety of hot and cold foods and drinks. NOTE: My stay was during the orange tier of the COVID stages so breakfast rules may have been relaxed by then instead of the brown bagged breakfast common during the stricter COVID tiers. I would definitely stay there again if my travels bring me to Orange county, especially now when it still has that ”brand new car smell”. Easily 5 of 5 stars - 😎😎😎😎😎.

The hotel is very good, the health is good, the bed is a bit high haha. In short, is it good?
