Hotel is having maintenance/renovation, very noisy. When they started magigising kana talaga and cannot sleep again. Im also annoyed with 1 male receptionist, open pala sa counter nya, i queued sa kabilang counter, and when other guest arrived (foreigner) he asissted. Like ***? Matagal bumaba ang water sa shower area, not safe since I’m pregnant. But overall still good. I will book again and recommend since the location is good. And most of the staffs are very nice and friendly. Hotel is clean. They allowed to check in at around 12.

Food breakfast was meh not so great. Parking always full but they have an extra parking space but need to walk far. We ordered 2 single beds in one room but only got 1 king size bed, apparently they “upgraded” us to a suite room but suite rooms dont offer separate beds. Overall a great experience still.

1. The location is only good for airport terminal 3 passengers ( our terminal is 1 and it takes 30 minutes to get to the airport/ hotel by taxi) and all the tourist attractions are 20-30 minutes away by taxi. We have to endure the traffic jams every time we go out. Quite stressful! 2. Noise problems: a construction site and the nearby guests in the hallway make constant noises and they wake us up, so I think the hotel should work on its sound proof quality. 3. City view and garden view ? After we complained about the construction noise, it took us almost five hours to move to the new room. The first room’s view is the ugly construction view ( allegedly city view ) and the garden view is hellish and unpleasant ( see the photo). I really wonder how the manager could proudly say it’s an upgrade for us to change to the new room?? Lol 4. Other than those above, the staff are all polite and attentive. Great breakfast and sauna and steam room.

We booked 2nights stay for our wedding anniversary. Check in was smooth and efficient. We were escorted to our room (Safari couple) and assisted in bringing our bags. The room was clean, although it is small, it was very cozy and you'll really get to feel the glamping vibe which me and my husband liked a lot. The shower area has a bit of moulds but it was minimal. The mosquito net is a saviour though the one we had has a hole luckily not much of mosquitos during our stay. The jacuzzi is nice. When we arrived the jacuzzi was ready and warmed up so all we had to do was jump into it. They also allow using bath bombs or bubble bath which is really nice cause one would enjoy jacuzzi with that and also you can request to change the water of the jacuzzi especially if you are staying more than 1night so that everyday the water is fresh. We didn't request for housekeeping during our stay so they were quite generous on replenishing our amenities instead. Breakfast option is so so we'd say. Menu is bit pricey for us. So we mostly opted for grab food. Speaking of, we ordered Andoks via Grab for our lunch on our 1st day. We ate just outside our tent for our lunch. We didn't get to finish the food cause it was too much for us, in short we had left overs of Andoks (1 bangus + 2 quarter parts of chicken + 1 bbq stick). We covered the left over food nicely and left them on top of our table just outside our tent assuming that it is safe to leave them there since we couldn't really bring them inside our tent cause it would smell. So then we went ahead and took our afternoon nap and when we wake up and checked on our left over food to have it for dinner; we were surprised that some of it were partially taken. The 1pc bbq stick and 1 quarter of chicken were gone. My husband and I thought that maybe one of us had eaten it while one was asleep but it was not. We also thought that maybe the insects around probably poke into our food but then the food was still covered nicely when we came back for it. Somebody must have meddle into our food while we were away asleep. Tbh, it wasn't really a big deal for us cause the food wasn't really that pricey and we will be happy to share it to the needy but the thought of somebody was meddling on our belongings while we were just few steps away asleep inside our tent makes it feel odd. We hope security could be better in future. We went to swim on our 2nd day. We were at the biggest pool that morning when we were asked to leave cause they have to clean it. The staff politely asked us to leave and transfer to another pool instead, it was fine to us but we thought that it would be better if they schedule the pool cleaning not during the operating hours so that guests can really maximise the pool usage. Check out was smooth as well. We were assisted by Melissa. Have shared to her our feedback and she was apologetic about it. But overall stay was lovely. Got a good deal for 3 days and 2 nights including free breakfast for my kids. The kids love the pool and the bath tub in the room. Food for breakfast is nice. Got a good service value for the money you pay. Definitely to be consider again next staycation.

A beautiful hotel in a beautiful area! It’s in such a convenient area, there’s a lot of shops and restaurants around. The hotel is also stunning, the staff was super helpful with everything I needed. It’s also close to the airport so it’s convenient. The room was fairly comfortable and clean, better than I expected. Definitely worth it, I’d come back again!

This was my second time visiting Angono for Higantes. The year before I stayed at a hotel in Taytay because I didn't know about this little resort/bed & breakfast. Got a great deal on the two night stay but was a little worried due to some of the reviews I've read. I'll admit, there was often a lot of people playing music or doing karaaoke by the pool and my bathroom/shower room was separate from the bedroom but it was a private bathroom. I can only assume that the complaints about bad service are related to people who no longer work at VJR because everyone I came into contact with was helpful and friendly. All in all, especially considering the price I was very happy. The room was very large, clean and comfy with a very big and very soft bed. If you visit Angono for Higantes or any time of year to soak up the food and culture of the art capital of the Philippines Villa Jhoana is an ideal place to make your homebase!
