In Africa, I personally think it is suitable for Chinese people to live. First, it is safe. Second, it is close to the airport. Third, it is more convenient to call a car from the hotel. Fourth, there are restaurants and bars. You don’t have to worry about travel and hygiene issues when you arrive at the hotel! There are also many areas available for meeting clients at hotels! The only point is that catering and drinks are much more expensive than outside! Chinese credit cards without naira cannot be used here. The hotel exchange rate is based on the National Bank exchange rate, which is not cost-effective compared to other places such as the airport. It is recommended to exchange at the airport! There is also a gym and a massage place here! Bring enough money, almost all hotels have any project you want!

Had an amazing stay. Everything worked great. Mini pool and mini gym to complement it. Breakfast was tasty with a decent variety. Although I had a nasty experience where I ordered for dinner, a spaghetti bolognese meal, where the meat was rotten :-( any cook can tell if food has gone bad but for it to have been served to me, made me question the food in store and played it safe by eating elsewhere after that experience. Aside that Wifi worked well. The frequent power cuts were not felt as a generator kicked in a few seconds after the mains went off. Overall I Enjoyed my stay but very disturbed by the food experience. May be a one-off but just be mindful

Come to Lagos or stay in a hotel better than this or go to a hotel opened by a Chinese. The hotel services and room facilities are not worth the price. Dinner at the hotel is RMB 110 for a buffet, and that meal is a forty buffet price in China. The quilt on the bed actually had moldy spots, and the bathroom didn't even have a towel, so I called and it took me a long time to get it. The chairs in the hotel's business district are too heavy to move.

I spent 2 days at the hotel, friendly staff, good breakfast and environment but forgot my airpod in the room just in front of the tv after packing. Called next day and only to be told the room cleaner didn’t find anything! I was 100% sure where I left it because I left the hotel to the house and on getting to the house, I called the hotel number all day (on Sunday) it wasn’t connecting and next day airpod gone.

Want a relaxing place with good food, and great live Band Movenpick Hotel Ikoyi lagos is the place to be Went there for an evening dinner, and I was greeted by the ambiance and Christmas decorations. The waiter was helpful in my decision making process. I Ordered the Asun and Plantain. The goat meat literally melts in your mouth as soft and tender. It is very close to the airport, and it will be 15 minutes when there is no traffic jam on the weekend. However, the traffic jam in Lagos is very serious, you must allow enough time for travel. The hotel is on a small road. Because of security issues, I didn't go out for a walk. The breakfast is very rich, I like it, and the taste is very good. Overall pretty good.

I stayed couple of days at citiheight and it was awesome time. I love the environment and the quietness. The pool is nice and clean, the gym and the bar was on point. The hospitality of staff was very pleasant. I didn’t really enjoy the Air condition I requested for a change of room and it was done. The breakfast was buffet style and I usually filled myself up before going out. I would love to come back again.
