Situated within sight of the airport-it has its own shuttle bus service . Used by air crews. The hotel is some way from town. It has its own restaurant and fitness club. We stayed here twice. The second time the room smelt of cigarettes- I asked for another and there was no problem getting it changed. The rooms are modern and clean. There are lifts to the 10 floors. Check in was quick, though there was an error readily rectified in that the room had already been paid for. The hotel is quiet . The bed comfortable . There is a quiet air conditioner. There is a room safe. WiFi is free though slow. The fitness studio is small, modern, with enough machines to suit most. I found the buffet meals to be rather like school dinners . There are signs in English. There is a lack of variation in the menu. It is difficult to eat elsewhere unless you want an expensive taxi ride. Breakfast was buffet style , with choice , coffee on tap. For a airport hotel the accommodation is on par with those in the UK, though the food lets the place down and you are then rather isolated .

Very good hotel, with great service (we had problems in the lock that were quickly resolved), excellent cleaning, well served breakfast, quiet parking, easy location and close trade (via Brazil and some pizzaries, I had no problem with the bedroom, but Renata was a little strange. One point goes to the acoustic isolation of the rooms, from which no external noise is heard, even in front of the street. I recommend, especially for those who intend to visit the Pampulha region, great cost x benefit!

Positive points: the reception service at the check-in was very good, the location is good, in front of a bakery and in the side of a self-service restaurant without balancing and cheap. They also agreed to anticipate breakfast in 30 minutes due to a large public competition that took place in the city on Sunday. Negative points: - There is no sound isolation, even in the room I stayed, I had a locked door that gave access to the neighboring room and made me listen to everything they were talking, In addition, the windows do not block anything from the noise of the street because they do not have closure rubber. The rooms are also very close to each other, and to worse the doors make a lot of noise to open and mainly to close, so we listen to high noises from all over the world. - Air conditioning only works with weak wind. The shower did not work right, the recording of hot water was not well controlled, the water flow was not controlled, making the bath very hot or very cold. - Breakfast is very simple, little variety. - The bathroom shoes easy to go. - The weak shower. - The very old laundry and smells that it has not been washed. - The Internet wi-fi is unstable. - The key card of the rooms gives problem at all times, and it is necessary to return to the reception to magnetize them again.

Hotel desk, parking, valet attendants were always kind & helpful. Room was comfortable & clean. Work out room & amenities well taken care of. Convenient location. Great breakfast, good food at restaurants - all the above I give 5 stars. However the organization of restaurant in the evening needs major attention, which is sad because the food is excellent, and so I give 2 stars as I’ll describe below. For our evening dinner we - and other guests waited more than an hour for food. It was obvious they were understaffed but no one checked in with us and it was hard to get their attention. When our food arrived, they forgot my elderly mother’s meal. Wait staff continued to not check in with us - and we felt ignored. Finally we spoke with staff and they got my mothers meal…about an additional 45 minutes later, we actually ate together. I complained to the restaurant manager and I was treated disrespectfully. I felt her meal needed to be compensated. His reply was “No - well she ate it didn’t she?” I was stunned by his rudeness and stood my ground that a 5 star hotel should not treat their guests this way. A waiter saw the ridiculous exchange and ended comping her meal. I noticed other hotel guests were frustrated too and had similar issues. At the very least all that needed to be done was for the staff to communicate,”Please be patient with us; were understaffed” etc. -That would’ve made a world of a difference.
