This was obviously an older hotel that Wyndham purchased and upgrades were implemented for the most part. We enjoyed that you could park at your door unlike the usual hotels. Check in/out was fast. There was a breakfast. I just wish there were fruit and yogurt options instead of most carbs. But that's just me. It was all great!

Drury Inn & Suites in Lafayette, La. is not only exceptional because of the beautiful rooms, pool, and ambiance. This hotel is remarkable because of the beautiful people that staff this place. My family and I came to this hotel in a time of crisis; hurricane Ida. We could not find a hotel with reasonable prices, seemingly comfortable or suitable for my age-varied family, stemming from my 1 year old niece to my senior grandpa, and our puppy. Amidst our last-minute searches, somehow, someway, the Drury Inn save the day, truly. Between a welcoming staff that greets you right at the door, cooks/chefs in the kitchen there to help, greet and converse with you at their buffet. The list goes on and on. You all were a safety net to my family and the ways you looked out for us are immeasurable, and I'm not exaggerating. Please don't change, and continue to be the wonderful, hospitable, and all-around considerate people family has ever encountered. By the way, I know I seemed to dedicate this message to the staff of Drury Inn, I feel I should also, at least mention the other great aspects of his hotel. :) The rooms, beds, and bathrooms are beautiful, cool, and encapsulating. The kitchen, open and inviting with coffee kept me active all day a multipurpose buffet. I believe there was a card for a complimentary drink or two, as well. The pool and complimentary towels: are refreshing. The chandelier and ambiance of the lobby was beautiful, as well. And there was one of my favorites, a gym included in the hotel! It was an all-around great experience that made my family and I feel as though we were still safe and protected amidst the chaos that brewed at home and on the news. We will continue to recommend this Inn to anyone asking!

I enjoyed my staying here very much. There room was super clean and comfortable. I slept like a baby the whole night everything was so quiet. Also I want to mention the nice and warm staff that took care of all my needs. This place is a top recommended one

This is our go to “Home” when we go to Lafayette. We have stayed here many times when traveling and with our grandsons baseball teams. The hotel and our rooms are always so clean and welcoming. We love the size of the rooms with the sofa and lil kitchen set up. The free breakfast is definitely a plus with very good choices and so good. The staff is very attentive and friendly. When we had to evacuate from home because of a hurricane last year I knew this is where I wanted to go and they did not disappoint. We were there for a few weeks with two other of our family members and their kids. The washer & dryers on site were so very useful. There are eating places in walking distance and we spent quite a bit of time in the lil park right out side. Location is perfect with things close by but the way the place is set up you don’t feel crowed. Sometimes we would took walks on the premises and area.

We decided to spend 2 nights and stay in a King Room. Our stay had a few problems. The room door was difficult to close and must be slammed to latch the lock. Our keys were disabled after the first night and the front desk clerk proceeded to lecture us about not putting key near phone or credit cards which we never do and my spouse and I do not store our hotel keys together. (We stay 100+ days a year in hotels.) The rooms need maintenance. The breakfast buffet was missing hot eggs but had pork sausage links and bacon, waffles, mini muffins, cereal, yogurt, mini cinnamon rolls. It's a carbohydrate/sugar lovers dream.

This is a place where I always stay this time I noticed that the staff was a little younger that does the cleaning and did not do a good job as the other workers did they just need to stay on top of it just cuz it looks clean does not mean that is clean they need to just wipe and mop up floors cuz there spills from the previous guest
