We spent two nights here to play golf and visit Lacanau. The hotel is mid range so not luxurious but the staff were welcoming and helpful. Our room was functional clean and comfortable with a good sized bed and air con. Breakfast was a good continental buffet and we ate outside on a beautiful terrace with a calm and peaceful atmosphere with a view of the 9th and 18th holes. We played one round of golf on the well kept and lovely course. Depending on the time of year it’s worth the short drive to the ocean to enjoy the fabulous beach and large number of beachfront restaurants. A lovely stay. We would come back.

We booked two nights stay arriving on a Sunday based on the restaurant being open on Sundays. On arrival we were told it was closed. Opposite reception a poster advertised open Sundays. The next night it was also closed. We weren't advised in advance of arrival, nor were we told about the closure for the next night, even though this was apparently for a pre-booked group. There are no other nearby restaurants, and the only offer was a precooked dish of pasta from the microwave at 7 euros.

Niché au cœur d’un parc magnifique cet hôtel à la décoration 70´s nous a enchanté par le cadre calme et apaisant avec la nature tout autour. Malheureusement à notre arrivée nous constatations que la nuitée est moins chère que sur le site de réservation nous l’indiquons mais pas de geste. Pas grave c’est notre faute! Puis nous rentrons dans la chambre. Au départ ça va … mais à peine tournée la tête une araignée sur le mur que nous avons indiqué à la réception. Revenant dans la chambre on en avait d’autres bref … c’est un détail! Puis la salle de bain … que dire des poils et des cheveux qui ne nous appartenaient pas! Je ne suis pas casse pied mais ça m’a beaucoup embêté l’histoire du coup et après la chambre pas net… déçu! Mon conjoint va pour réservé le spa pour une détente avant une balade lacanau … et ben non! Pas de place! On a du y aller avant notre depart! Et avec un sauna qui ne fonctionne pas et 30 min de hamman avant de pouvoir avoir accès 30 min au bulles … Magnifique petit dej en revanche !! Je suis donc mitigé car le cadre petit dej de qualité. Mais quelques déconvenues dont je ne sais que penser!
