Excellent luxury hotel in Bajo - a must go for those who wants to indulge in a quiet holidays and experience full tropical escape. The over water villas are excellent - it's a unique experience to stay (and if you are lucky you can see turtles swimming around the villas) while the 1 bedroom is spacious and luxurious.

From the picture found on IG, and the price per night here, one can know that this place is a 5 star resort. But when arrive at the hotel, we were blown away the way they welcomed us. It was as though we are welcomed into a cultural place. The design of the resort is just so gorgeous. It’s very warm and tranquil. The equiments they use, toileteries are all very high quality. We stayed in a 1 bedroom vila. The living room, is very homey with a cultural touch, The bathroom is so spacious and gorgeous you could even sleep in it. Seperate bathroom n toilet with a connecting walk-in closet. You have to see it for yourself to understand just how awesome they set the place up. The interior design, how they organize the room is just perfect. As though they knw exactly where n what everything should be. The food : breakfast, lunch, dinner is just so delicous. They even have their own coffee roastery. And the coffe is just to die for. But thats not the hightlight of the place. The people in and round the facility is the biggest asset in this place. They know who you are, and they even knw the name of our kids. They are so warm in and personal in treating you. Whatever you need, just tell them, they’ll take the extra mile and PLUS, put a chery on top to make it happen just for you. we are thoroughly and overly pampered. Taaktana certainly IS a place for us to get away from the busyness of life and the high pace of work.

A nice experience over there.. Very complete gym facility.. Unforgettable experience seeking manta and sharks during diving and snorkling.. Nice food and complete wine menu.. Limited rooms quantity make a privilege experience oner there.. Appreciate the kindness of Yosef as our butler

The resort was just opened not long ago and we had a fantastic 4 nights stay. The villa we had was well appointed and luxurious. The grounds of the resort was beautiful and facilities were good. We managed to utilise the gym but not the common pools as there was a private plunge pool in our villa. The buggies were useful as our villa was set on a slope. But the outstanding feature of the resort would be the guest service ... everyone was so friendly and spoke amazing English. Our butlers, Wangsa and Annisa went out all the way to assist us in almost every aspect and that elevated our stay in Ta'aktana. Our favourite restaurant was Umasa which serves local Indonesian fare - everything we had was delicious and beautifully plated - Lamhot and Puspita were such gracious host/hostess. Breakfast was also amazing - and we enjoyed chatting with Chef Andi, along with Ferdinand and Jaka. I also wish to thank Rafa for sharing the history of Labuan Bajo with us. I truly appreciated the fact that the resort employs mostly (if not all) locals and that made such a huge impact on me as a first time visitor to Labuan Bajo as a foreigner.
