Room was nice but small; reception people were friendly and efficient. There were plenty of amenities at the ground floor. Breakfast of Western selections is limited, based on Japanese breakfast option. Still you can find croissants and pastries, some days they have omelet and sausages.

The hotel facilities are clean and new, and the location is a bit off, but the bus station is very close to the door, so the traffic is very convenient. A little bit small, but compared to other hotels, it's still bigger.

Kyoto Station
The building was very clean and clean, and it may not be new, but it was very clean and beautiful. It was quiet and I could sleep well at night. The elevator button was large and easy to understand and press. It was winter, so the public bath was also saved. It was easy to understand because it was in front of the bus stop in front of the kujo shako depot. 5 I could see the garage from the window on the floor, and many buses were overwhelming. As expected, Kyoto and buses are substantial.
Kyoto Universal Hotel Karasuma

Opened in July 2016, with a capacity of 852 people, 4 elevators, and a studio apartment. The lobby is large and the front desk is large. There is an Internet corner in the lobby where you can use your PC freely. The large communal bath and sauna have been discontinued to prevent infection, which is a pity. A bright and spacious room with a single bed and a sofa with a length of about 180 cm. All lighting other than the toilet can be turned on / off with the switch at the bedside. It is convenient to have a long shelf (about 180 cm) with a TV and a shelf of about 50 cm * 180 cm between the chairs and windows. There is a refrigerator, pot, and a wall clock, but there is no closet, reading light, or safe. The bathroom with a bathtub, toilet, and wash basin is a little small, and there are steps at the entrance and exit. The room fee is surprisingly low 3000 yen (excluding 200 yen for accommodation tax) with dinner and breakfast.

I used it because the deadline for the accommodation ticket I received from the company was approaching. It is very convenient in front of Hachijo Guchi, Kyoto Station. The building was compact and about 15 rooms on the 1 floor. In the room, a type of closet with a hanger on the wall, a TV incorporated into the wall, a small bathtub (no problem because I only use shower at the hotel) The contrivance for space saving was color 々. It was a little two years from the opening, so it was clean overall and there was no shortage of equipment. I didn't use it, but there was a large bath (artificial hot spring) on the first floor. There were many items for breakfast (paid Japanese buffet) and it was satisfactory.

Kyoto Station
The accommodation is very beautiful, just like the photos provided. It has the feel of a traditional Japanese house! The owner is also very nice and provided a check-in manual before check-in (it will provide guidance on how to take the bus from Kyoto Station to the accommodation). Some recommended foods are also provided 😊 We will also answer some questions and provide references in a timely manner. Not only that, the owner also provided a free warehouse for us to store our luggage (15 minutes+ walk from the accommodation). The accommodation is also very comfortable, with mattresses, sheets, towels, toiletries, and heating all provided. The area around the accommodation is very quiet. There is a small market nearby, and you need to walk some distance to get more food options. It takes about 10 minutes to walk to the nearest lawson, and it's a little far away from Toji Station, but if you mainly take the bus, it's no problem because it's very close to the bus stop. Overall, the stay experience was great!

Travelers usually fly into Kansai International Airport or Osaka Itami Airport before making their way to Kyoto by train or bus. The city has an efficient network of buses and trains, including a subway system.

The official currency is the Japanese Yen (JPY). Credit cards are accepted in many places, but cash is still commonly used. Japanese is the primary language spoken, though English is understood in many tourist areas.
