Near Kiyomizu Temple, the hotel faces the street and has a small facade. When you open the door, you will find a hidden world. Follow the winding stone road to reach the old house. It feels like "a winding path leads to a secluded place, and the Zen room is filled with flowers and trees." Outside the window are lush maple trees. It must be more beautiful in late autumn when the maple leaves are red. It feels great to wake up in the morning to the sunlight filtering through the bamboo curtains. Although the room is old, it is spotlessly clean. The landlord was very warm and courteous, and helped us call a taxi to pick up our luggage when we left.

Very clean. The guy at the front desk was very nice and spoke English. He helped us call a car and carry our suitcases. The room we booked was not big. There was a toilet in the room, but the bathroom was shared. Overall it was very clean. The small streets of Kiyomizu Temple were also very close.

My son and I had a lovely stay. We stayed for 1 night and I wish he had stayed for more. The owners were so hospitable and nice. The room was clean, comfortable and very pretty. The private rock garden at entrance is a very nice touch. When we got back from dinner, the owner had drawn up a nice warm bath in the private bath house. We relaxed the busy day away and he presented us with a refreshing dessert. We opted for the traditional Japanese breakfast and it was a beautiful presentation and tasted great. Included rice, miso soup, tea, grilled fish, and tempura. I would recommend 10 out of 10.

At first, we didn't know how many people would be staying, so we decided on a place that could accommodate up to 5 people and was close to Kiyomizu-dera Temple. In the end, we ended up as a couple, but due to the coronavirus, we ended up renting out a private house, and it was as relaxing as visiting a relative's house. The furnace was also turned on, and when we arrived, we had matcha tea in the tea room. The breakfast was better than any I've had before, and I'd love to stop by again just for breakfast. The problem is that the building as a whole is old, so the sliding doors cannot be opened or closed. It was difficult to get caught, and there is a bathhouse in the ba*****t. Perhaps because it was just the two of us, they didn't let us use it, and we didn't know about it. I used a unit bath, but there was no bath chair and I had to stand up. Since it was a shower, I made sure not to get the hot water I used in the bathtub. It was difficult. There was no basket in the changing room to put clothes in, so I had to put them on top of the heater. There was also a notice in English, so if it wasn't coronavirus, it might be an inn for foreign guests. However, the owner was very kind and I have good memories. Next time, I would like to stay there with my children or friends. I think it's a very good accommodation for people who want to rent it out as a group. It was convenient and close to the bus stop.
