This hotel is in a good location in Arashiyama, next to Suiran Hotel, Arashigetsu Hotel, and across from Hogan-in. If you come to Arashiyama during the cherry blossom season and red leaf season, you will stay here. First, the price is right and there is a single set meal, so you don't have to find a place to eat; second, the room is very quiet. Although the hotel is an old mid-range hotel, the room is 20 square meters and is very clean, and the service is good. After checking out, they helped me call a taxi, which was serious and responsible. When I checked in, I met a girl who could speak Chinese. The roast beef set meal beef is not the fat-rich wagyu beef but ordinary beef, with average seasoning. The breakfast is very simple, and I just need a hot spring egg. The bedding is really bad. There is only one pillow, which is hard and high. I will get a stiff neck directly. I used my sweater as a pillow to fall asleep, and used the bed sheet through the bedspread as a quilt to make a mess. I really can't stand it, but there is no alternative in Arashiyama at this price. Don't stay at Arashiyama Hanadensho. It is crowded, old, dirty and broken. It is useless. It is worse than this and more expensive than this.

The hotel is very quiet. It is at the entrance of Kameyama Park at the foot of Arashiyama. It is 300 meters away from the Kyoto Station bus Togetsukashi. It takes 20 minutes to walk back to the JR station.

It's right near Togetsukyo Bridge. The environment and services are very good. The hotel has its own hot spring bath and the surrounding area is very quiet. I heard that it was also the place where Emperor Meiji rested. It’s just that the breakfast may not be particularly outstanding, after all, it’s Japanese specialties.

The experience was good, the front desk and concierge services were professional and decent. The location is excellent, yet quiet in the middle of the hustle and bustle. You can’t go wrong choosing this hotel. The hotel is an attraction. Although the hotel is old, the rooms are still clean and tidy. I chose one hotel and two meals and was not disappointed. The service at dinner and breakfast was a very friendly person wearing a kimono who was not old but had a kind and kind feeling like a grandma. It snowed heavily in the afternoon. Not far from the river, opposite is Baoyan Courtyard with beautiful night maples. The courtyard is beautiful, the facilities are a bit old, and there are hot springs to soak in. Breakfast and dinner are good.

I chose it because of its good location, but perhaps my expectations were too high, and the room was very average. I thought the entrance of the inn was facing the Katsuragawa River, but I turned around and found it at the back, which was a little disappointing. But the good thing was that we went during the autumn leaves season, so we were able to eat breakfast while looking at the autumn leaves. Breakfast also had all-you-can-eat pickles. The hot springs open from 6am and breakfast starts at 7am, so I think it's recommended for those who want to relax. Hogon-in Temple and Tenryu-ji Temple are nearby. Togetsukyo Bridge is also not far away, so it's great for a morning walk.
