Kanade Kyotoeki-Minami

The house was located fairly near to Kyoto Station (3-5 mins walk), but was situated in an alley, which will get a little dark at night. The neighbourhood seemed really safe though. The room however, was pretty dusty. There were dust in all nooks and cranny. Had a really bad sinus during my stay there. There was a washing machine at the balcony area, but it was also quite dusty on top. Detergent bottle was provided, without the detergent. The design of the room though was beautiful, with traditional Japanese tatami. Would probably not stay here again if I were to visit. Hotel stays might be better. Check in process.. we had to walk to the reception which was 10-15 mins away from the apartment, cause we arrived earlier. It was a bit of a hassle tbh…

Very convenient to Kyoto station also aeon mall is nearby.

The house was very clean and the communication was great , response time was very good and they accommodate you as long as it’s a reasonable request.

Quiet, peaceful retreat near Kyoto Station I wanted a quiet house near Kyoto Station to write and relax, and this was the perfect choice. It's in a residential area, so there's no street traffic. The bathroom is fantastic, with a great soaking tub that overlooks the maple tree. It's also conveniently located near Aeon Mall, making it easy to bring groceries home. I had everything I needed, and the hotel was very responsive to communication. The only thing I could think of adding might be a bicycle. I hope to stay there again soon!

Communication about check in time and arrangement was poor. I sent messages in Japanese but they reply occasionally in English, which was strange. I was asked to send all my details including passport number and a photo despite they have all the details with booking , but after all, I had to fill in details again on paper. Very inefficient and time consuming.
