Located in a very quiet residential area, the surroundings are exceptionally clean. The owner is incredibly helpful and attentive to every detail, and they can communicate in Chinese, which is a huge plus. It's the perfect place to stay during cherry blossom season.

Searched 'Sakura no Yado Akagane three rooms two toilets' on Google Maps. It's about a 12-minute walk to the 24-hour Fresco - Kujo supermarket, so you can cook your own meals. It's about a 10-minute taxi ride from Kyoto Station Hachijo Exit to the guesthouse. We just flagged a taxi on the street, which was faster than using Didi International (if you need a ride-hailing app, Uber is recommended). It's also convenient to walk to a nearby station to take the JR line to Sewaritei, and you'll pass by Toji Temple on the way. On the morning of departure, you can take a taxi to Kyoto Station's main entrance, where there are many 24-hour self-service luggage lockers available (the host informed us of this in advance, thank you!). The host was very nice, patient, and enthusiastic, providing a lot of helpful guidance. This guesthouse is highly recommended for families! 👍🏻

I didn't take any pictures of the house, but my three friends and I had a wonderful stay. I've always wanted to experience living in a Japanese detached house, and I finally got my wish! The house is located in a residential area, and while it's not right next to Kyoto Station, it's only about a 15-minute walk away, offering a peaceful retreat amidst the hustle and bustle. The room can accommodate up to 8 people, and the tatami mats were super comfortable, clean, tidy, and full of Japanese charm. Our host, Xueyue, took great care of us, recommending delicious food and fun places nearby. It was a fantastic experience, and I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit! 🥳🥳 I've attached some beautiful photos of Eikando Temple and Nanzenji Temple to share with everyone~

The apartment was spotlessly clean and well-equipped for cooking, with everything we needed. The host was incredibly kind, attentive, and responsible!

The Akagane (room type) is quite spacious, and the washing machine works great. The in-room amenities are very complete. For those who aren't used to sleeping on a hard tatami mat, you can use the bed. The kitchenware is comprehensive, making it really nice to cook your own sukiyaki!

The boss sent me the route map information early in the morning, so I didn’t have to look for it 😜 Everywhere I went was so clean and comfortable! When we arrived at the B&B, we discovered that the induction cooker was not working at night. We always said hello and taught us carefully. In the end, it didn't work and a new one was delivered the next day! The most touching thing was that they delivered some drinks and snacks to us that night🥰😘, and also gave us information about nearby restaurants🥰They were really attentive👍🏻
