The whole experience was very pleasant. We appreciated the staff's extensive explanation of how the things work in Nazuna, suggestions on where to find food and how to get to the nearest shopping area. The hotel room is a separate building on its own and the designs were unique. The presentation of the breakfast were done nicely and they even offer night snack - egg sandwich. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and will return in future.

I’d highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for privacy and luxury! Each units are a standalone house that have been renovated in the inside. Fantastic staff and service!

Crazily perfect place during the winter. The private onsen is a must thing to do during winter time. Match up so well with the weather. The corridor of this ryokan is good for pictures taking! Book early with hotel if you wish to wear their kimono to take pictures! Good time to spend with your loved ones.
This is the most expensive stay I have ever been to but I enjoyed it a lot!

This hotel claims to be a private bath, so I rented three nights to stay, it turned out that the hot spring is from clear water, breakfast is not good, when on the website saw the morning breakfast is looking at the flowing river to eat, I did not know It's completely two versions, so I don't have to stay in a hotel as damn expensive as yours? Five thousand dollars a night turned out to be no hot springs and gave me some salt as a hot spring really laughing

Response from Property: Thank you for your stay. There is a semi-open-air bath in the guest room of our hotel, but there is no hot spring. Since there is no mention of hot spring information on the official website, we believe there must be an error in some of the information websites you visited. Bath salts are provided in the room for guests to relax and enjoy bathing in the room. As you told us, bath salts are not hot springs. In addition, there is no river at the restaurant offering food and beverages. A small garden can be seen from the window, but unfortunately we have to say that there is no such view. The only thing I can say is that I sincerely apologize for your unsatisfactory stay. Nazuna Kyoto Tsubaki St

The room rate is too high, and you have to pay 2000 tax. Breakfast ends too early, and check-out time is 11 o'clock, which is too early. The price of the amenities is also very expensive, and they are very high-end. It's too high-end

The two of us stayed for two nights and the housing experience was extremely poor and completely inconsistent with the price.
The room was extremely cramped and had no windows to the outside. The room is dark and humid, and you have to step on a stone to go from the bedroom to the toilet, which is a safety hazard.
The bedroom is so small that it can only accommodate a bed, and the suitcase cannot be opened.
It was said to include dinner. The first night I had Wagyu beef, which was fat and raw. My sister couldn't eat raw meat and almost vomited after eating it. The second night we said we wouldn't go to eat. It turned out that if I didn’t eat, the hotel would have to pay 28,000 yen. Actually we already paid 8000 RMB per night including dinner. For dinner, everyone is forced to order a drink. A serving of oolong tea costs 1,200 yen. It took me a long time to get a cup of hot water.
You will have to pay 4,000 yuan in taxes and fees when you leave. Higher than other hotels.
The waiter's service attitude was poor, and the dinner service was even more unsatisfactory. Putting the oven lid directly on the chair is totally unprofessional.
There is a feeling of being cheated. The hotel facilities and services seriously do not match the high price.

Response from Property: Thank you for your stay. We apologize for your unsatisfactory stay. The hotel would like to take this opportunity to respond to your feedback. About your room. The guest room has a window on the first floor, a window on the first floor facing the courtyard, and a semi-open-air bath. The layout of the rooms is based on traditional Kyoto machiya, with modern elements added to the renovated design. We apologize for the layout you may not like. It takes more than 20 minutes to fill the bathtub with hot water, giving you a satisfying bathing experience. About the food First of all, we apologize that you didn't like the food here. Our dishes contain unheated fatty meat. (We understand that some ingredients may not be suitable for guests who don’t like greasy food). In the unlikely event that the food is not to your liking, we will do our best to reheat it. We won’t force you to eat until you vomit. Going forward, we will train our employees to avoid offensive behavior such as placing grills in front of guests. cost. We understand you may not be able to dine in. However, the restaurant will charge a cancellation fee. We have charged a cancellation fee in accordance with the restaurant's rules and regulations and taking into consideration that the food we arranged would be wasted. Per restaurant policy, one drink should be ordered per person. In compliance with regulations, we offer our guests a more reasonable and less burdensome menu. Accommodation tax is a tax levied by Kyoto City. The tax varies based on the room rate per person, but we do not overcharge for our own benefit. We apologize for not being able to accommodate your request. We will take your comments seriously and reconsider to provide better service. Nazuna Kyoto Tsubaki St

It is a very hot Japanese hotel. The rooms are small and the stairs are very steep. It is not recommended to stay with the elderly and children. The price is expensive, and it comes with breakfast and dinner. We arrived late and didn't get dinner, but we have to pay for dinner! Very speechless 😓, overall, low cost performance, not recommended!

I don’t know if it’s discrimination or the hotel staff is rigid. The room is OK, there are people who can speak Chinese, and the service during check-in is very good. However, on the second day, I asked the hotel to help me book a restaurant for the third day. The hotel staff agreed and told us that the restaurant we wanted to book was closed and we needed to help book it when it was open on the third day. We said no problem. On the third day, we checked out first, stored our luggage, and asked the front desk if they had successfully booked the restaurant they promised to help us with yesterday? ! ! ! The key point is that the front desk said, sorry, we can’t help customers who have checked out to book a restaurant... I was shocked! ! ! First, I checked out five minutes ago; second, you promised me the day before, I’m just asking if the restaurant reservation was successful... After a stalemate, the supervisor came out and said that he could only call the restaurant for us to ask... That’s it, the experience was very bad... It’s totally not worth the 6k+ room rate...

The room is very Japanese style and unique. It is very convenient to the city center. The price is a bit expensive but it is nothing compared to the price of domestic hotels.
