M's Hotel Sanjo Omiya

The room I stayed in was very clean and had all the basic amenities, including a safe, which was reassuring. The door used a keypad lock, so I'd recommend taking a picture of the code on the first day in case you lose the paper. The only issue with the room was that the air conditioning had a strange smell, but fortunately, it was warm enough without it, so it didn't negatively impact my stay. To my surprise, the TV couldn't receive TVO, so I couldn't watch Nogizaka Under Construction or Star Tanjo. The location is a bit tucked away, about a ten-minute walk from both the municipal subway and Hankyu lines. There are many restaurants in the neighborhood at night, but my Japanese isn't great, so I was hesitant to go in, haha. Near the Hankyu station exit, there are quite a few shops, like Matsuya, McDonald's, and several convenience stores. There are no shops near the subway exit. I was here for a Nogizaka event, and the price was very reasonable, so I didn't really have any complaints. I had a great time in Kyoto.

Fantastic location, within walking distance to shopping districts and the train station. The room was clean, tidy, and well-equipped, and the bedding was super comfy, ensuring a great night's sleep. The front desk staff were incredibly warm and helpful, and the breakfast offered a wide variety of delicious options. Excellent value for money, highly recommended!

It was okay. It's about 900 meters from the subway station, so you have to walk a bit, but it's not too bad. However, if you're a woman traveling alone, that stretch of road feels a bit dim. It's located in a residential area.
