Got a free room upgrade. Even though the room didn't have an openable window, it wasn't an issue this time of year. The bathtub was huge, and the hotel is very close to Nijo Castle, offering a peaceful retreat amidst the hustle and bustle. They even gave us traditional Japanese sweets (wagashi) and matcha. Breakfast was excellent, but I skipped the salmon since I don't eat seafood.

This was my first visit, and it was for my birthday! 😊
There was a slight problem at the beginning, so I'm sharing it in case it helps others in dealing with similar issues.
🍽️ The plan was described as an all-inclusive package with three meals per night, but in reality, the booking data received by the hotel through Trip.com was for a one-night room-only stay.
→ The hotel responded by saying they could somehow prepare breakfast for the next day, and it was a Western-style breakfast.
Originally, this hotel doesn't provide dinner, and although other travel sites have plans that seem to include dinner, it's not something the hotel prepares in-house.
I was a little skeptical about the "three meals per night" part, but the hotel couldn't suddenly prepare dinner.
→ Trip.com responded honestly and sincerely after chatting with them for about an hour.
We had dinner out, so the only inconvenience at the hotel was during the initial check-in.
However, I've heard that some of the listings on Trip.com are resold from other sites, so in the future, I'll check with the hotel beforehand for meal plans or anything that might surprise me if it's not available.
My stay at the hotel was wonderful and very comfortable ♡ The bed was spacious, and I was very satisfied with the hospitality.
The guest-only bar is only open in the evenings, and I received a complimentary welcome drink 🍾

You should seriously avoid this place. First, the booking stated it was all-inclusive, but later they told me it was only breakfast due to a system error. It's like changing the rules after the fact. If they had mentioned it during check-in, I might have tolerated it, but since they didn't, I'm writing about my honest experience.
The reviews for the breakfast were good, but I don't understand what's so good about it. It certainly looks photogenic, but the taste is absolutely terrible. I can't understand how they could make something so awful. I usually never leave food on my plate when eating out, but I left more than half.
I understand that staying in central Kyoto on a Saturday would be somewhat expensive, but even so, 60,000 yen for this is the worst value for money. I only encountered foreign guests, so it's probably aimed at inbound tourists, but I think anyone with a typical Japanese sense of money would feel devastated. I hope this serves as a reference so others don't end up like me. I was a fool to expect it to be Instagram-worthy.

I felt cheated staying in this hotel. It was a small box-like building with no public places. It didn't match the photos I saw when booking. There were several lime peeling off the walls of the room. Because it was adjacent to the bathroom area, there was no door between the bathroom area and the bedroom. If you were taking a shower, you would be exposed once you opened the door! The most incredible thing was that the room had no windows! Breakfast was delivered to the room using the space in our room. Because the hotel didn't have a restaurant, it was a very depressing environment. The location was not very good either. The front desk and service spoke English in a stuttering manner. This was the most expensive hotel I have ever stayed in! Anyway, it was a very unpleasant experience. Take this as a warning 😊

The hotel design is simple and beautiful, and the lobby and rooms have a sense of design.
The hotel is in an excellent location, only a few minutes walk to the downtown area
I will stay here again next time I come to Kyoto. .

It's very nice and the price is right. You don't need to get out of bed to eat breakfast directly. The service attitude is also very good. The attitude of the front desk is also very good and friendly. The hotel room is also very high-end. It looks like it wants to make people look after the elderly. It feels very comfortable. There is a tablet in front of the bed to control the air conditioning and lighting. There is a mobile phone and audio system for playing music. The bathtub is also very large. It’s easy to soak in the bath alone while listening to a ditty!
