The room was tired and borderline shabby. For the price, it didn’t seem to be a good value. There is heritage and then there is just not updating things that should have been updated long ago like the stained carpet. I wouldn’t stay there again. The staff felt the same. The upside was the room was large. But the bathroom was, again, in need of updating and felt shabby. It was a disappointing stay in an otherwise very lovely and comfortable city.

Very Traditional Breakfast in Kyoto style, I love it !

The environment was quite pleasant, a traditional Japanese-style guesthouse, but the price was too high. Check-in was only available from 3 PM to 10 AM, and the hotel didn't offer much food; drinks had to be fetched from the basement. Inconvenient. Service was just average.

I stayed here with a friend, and it was a little creepy, honestly. The decor was quite nice, but the only downside was the lack of an elevator, so we had to carry our suitcases. There were two bottles of drinks provided daily, and the complimentary sake was quite good. The breakfast had a wide variety of breads.

Japanese garden style accommodation, great environment, great atmosphere. The hotel can also pre-order soup in the evening, one soup per guest, very clean and private. Coffee/pastries are provided every morning, and there are various Japanese breakfasts for self-service, which is very convenient and delicious.

Compared with the Japanese inns I stayed in before the epidemic, it lacks charm, the environment is average, the service is just worse than others, there is no bed-making service, no dinner is provided, and the key is that the breakfast is very disappointing, with European sausages placed in Japanese utensils. To be honest, it is not worth the price.

The service attitude is very good and the Japanese-style hotel is very unique. Everyone is very nice. There was also a handsome blond guy who welcomed us (very eye-catching for girls)

The facilities of this hotel are indeed a bit old, and the location is near the Yasaka Shrine. It is convenient to go to Kiyomizu Temple, but it is a little troublesome to go to other scenic spots or urban traffic. You can definitely choose a newer brand hotel with a better location at the same price . However, the service of this hotel is very good. You can feel the traditional Japanese service. After checking out, the manager will watch you leave until you disappear from his sight. And seeing that I was drying my clothes, the staff also helped me to dry them faster with an electric fan. If you value service quality, then this is a good choice.

The room is old, the little toothpaste is dry, the toothbrush is very hard, and the WI-FI signal is very poor. However, the location is close to Yasaka Shrine, not far from Kiyomizu Temple, and the service attitude is very good and polite. Probably because of the Zhiyuan Festival, the price is not low, and the price/performance ratio is not high, so it is not recommended

The kaiseki breakfast is very good, the location is great, just next to the Yasaka Shrine, the tatami mats are also very comfortable, and you can fully experience the feeling of an old house.
