One of the nicest hotel with a lovely Japan and Kyoto like interiors in Kyoto for the price in the area. Room and bathroom is spacious and a large bath tub with tv is good plus point if you enjoy taking a bath. The front staffs are not the best and friendly ones but provide service you need. Our family stayed for 2 nights, one room in the 3rd floor and the other in the ground floor. The ground floor room has really bad moldy and cigarette smell, my husband and I notified hotel and asked if they gave us a smoking room by mistake. They said they will do something with it and when we back to the room at night we saw they kept opening the window but it was still smelly and disgusting. It was very unpleasant.

Wonderful all around, especially if you get lucky with snow. On the quiet side of the river for 8 nights. Obviously had the river view. Corner room on 4th floor is the best. Housecleaning is a bit too loud though. Super close to train station. Kyoto is worth the visit no matter what. We’ll be returning. Thank you

The hotel is located in the heart of Kyoto, but yet still amidst the hustle and bustle. It's about ten minutes' walk from Shijo Kawara. Go out of the hotel and turn left, 150 meters away, to the Keihan Line and Kyoto Municipal Subway Tozai Line stations. When you go out of the hotel, turn right and walk 200 meters along the Kamogawa River to the Shijo Kawara Hankyu Line. The business district of Shijo Kawara is in that area. It's just a stone's throw away from Gion, a flower path. The room is large and new, and the equipment and beds are of a certain quality. The hotel is located in the heart of Gion, and you can occasionally see real artists. For breakfast, it’s a set meal, with Japanese and Western options.
You can feel full, but you will feel tired.

The location is relatively close to Shijo and within walking distance. The room is relatively large and there is a small balcony on the first floor. Japanese breakfast is delivered to the room which is very considerate. The bathroom is spacious and has advanced facilities.
