I've stayed here three times in total, and overall, I recommend it. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the location is quiet and convenient. My only complaint is that the front desk service is a bit cumbersome.
The rooms are much larger than typical hotels in Kyoto. We had four suitcases for two people, and there was still plenty of walking space even with all of them open. The room also includes a washing machine and a kitchen, fully equipped with all the cooking utensils and cleaning supplies needed for a short stay.
The location is quite good, just one bus stop away from Kyoto Station, or you can walk if you're not in a hurry. The apartment is in a residential area, so it's very quiet. There are convenience stores nearby and some good restaurant options.
The downside is that there's no physical front desk. If you have any needs, especially after hours, you have to contact an overseas customer service team via an iPad in the lobby. I found this process quite troublesome on several occasions.
