Kyoto Crystal Hotel Ⅲ

Kyoto Station
I had a great deal on this hotel and was very happy with my choice. The room was super clean and more spacious than I expected. No closet for your clothes, though. there is one drawer next to the bed, for some small stuff. Two electricity sockets and 2 usb inlets per bed. The beds were very comfy! Shower and bath were perfect. Reception was very accommodating. The room has a water heater and fridge. Couple of things notable: Station Tokyo is a 10 minutes walk, if you walk briskly. I thought the station was closer by, so that was a misconception on my part. Breakfast is very Japanese: many choices, but definitely not for vegetarians. I was glad our neighbors spent their evenings talking and not much else, because we could hear them talk, the walls were that thin. No safe in the room. All in all, I would personally choose an hotel nearer to the station, but if you don't mind the walk, the price and quality of the hotel couldn't be better, that's why 4 stars.

Advantages: The location is very good. It is a few minutes walk to the subway station. There is 711 opposite. It is very convenient to buy breakfast and late night snacks. Datang is very spacious. You can buy breakfast from 711 and eat here. The service is very friendly. Disadvantages: The toilet is too small. Another big problem is that the wifi is often disconnected. Not only is it stuck, but the network is often disconnected and does not work. I think this problem should be easily improved. Overall, the price and location are very cost-effective. If the wifi can be improved, I will choose here again next time. The fact that 711 is right downstairs is a plus.

Kyoto Station
It is a hotel that combines tradition and modernity. It is located in a very quiet area, just 15 minutes walk from the historic centre of Kyoto and 10 minutes from the station. It is an hotel with excellent reception service. They helped us with all our doubts, every morning when they left offered us bottles of frozen water to support the heat and helped us with the shipment of baggage to Osaka, they have a staff of 10! The room was wide, it had tatami floor, a very wide and comfortable bed and a living area. We tested the continental and Japanese and both were very diverse and complete! Another point in favour of the room was the bathroom with cedro bath, ideal for resting after spending the day by Kyoto! It is a very recommended hotel! The hotel is a great hotel, a great hotel, a great hotel, a great hotel, a great hotel, a great hotel, a great hotel, a great hotel, a great hotel, a great hotel, a great hotel, a great hotel, a great hotel, a great hotel, a great hotel, a great hotel, a great hotel, a great hotel, a great hotel, a great hotel, a great hotel, a great hotel, a great hotel, a great hotel, a great hotel, a great hotel, a great hotel

The location is quite superior, downstairs is a bustling business district, there are many young people and girls in kimono, there are everything to eat and shop, there are many stations in all directions, you can walk to Yasaka Shrine at night, and walk for a few minutes to Kamogawa , The environment is very good and very clean. The stay is very comfortable.

Kyoto Station
Great location, just a block away from Kyoto Station. There’s also a bus stop in front of the hotel, so it’s very accessible. The room is just enough for 2 people, and we loved the lounge robe and pants provided. Amenities were complete, and there were staff to help out. Check-in was also smooth, and we were able to leave our luggage at the reception and tour around since we arrived early. But the best thing is probably the breakfast buffet. Loved the selection! There’s a variety of food and drinks! All in all, the place is worth the price, and will definitely book here again.

Kyoto Business Hotel Guide

Introduction to Kyoto

As the former imperial capital of Japan, Kyoto effortlessly blends the old with the new. This city in the Kansai region is renowned for its well-preserved temples, stunning gardens, traditional teahouses, and the historic geisha district of Gion.

Tips for Travelling to Kyoto

Travelers usually fly into Kansai International Airport or Osaka Itami Airport before making their way to Kyoto by train or bus. The city has an efficient network of buses and trains, including a subway system.

The official currency is the Japanese Yen (JPY). Credit cards are accepted in many places, but cash is still commonly used. Japanese is the primary language spoken, though English is understood in many tourist areas.

Visa policies vary based on nationality and duration of stay, so it is advisable to check prior to your visit.

Popular Attractions in Kyoto

Kyoto is home to an array of UNESCO World Heritage Sites including Kinkaku-ji (Golden Pavilion), Fushimi Inari Taisha, and Kiyomizu-dera Temple. Wander around the Arashiyama Bamboo Grove, or take a walk through the historic streets of Gion.

Don't forget to visit Nijo Castle and the Philosopher's Path, especially during cherry blossom season.

Weather, Best Time to Visit, and What to Wear

Kyoto experiences four distinct seasons: humid summers, chilly winters, and mild springs and autumns. The city is particularly popular during spring (March to May) and autumn (September to November) when cherry blossoms and autumn leaves transform the landscape.

Given the varied climate, clothing should be season appropriate. Comfortable shoes are essential for temple hopping.
