Hotels near Kamai Swimming Beach, Kyotango

My wife and I had a relaxing holiday recently and a great experience at the Kawaguchiya Kinosaki Riverside Hotel. We took a train from Shin Osaka Station (2.5 hour) and a slow walk from the station to Kawaguchiya. (If you are following our route, when you reach the river, Turn Right and walk to the end of the road where you will arrive at a T junction, Turn Left. You will see a Idemitsu gas station, the hotel is just right opposite). The weather was cool that day and the town was quite thin in traffic. Check in was quite strict at 3.00pm, so we wandered out for a ramen lunch before returning again to check in. We had a Japanese room which looked out to Higashiyama Park and a view of the autumn leaves. We’d booked a half board package. The kaiseki dinner was elaborate and stunning - visually stimulating and delicious. Breakfast was equally well presented. Before dinner we’d put on the yukata robe and the geta clogs, took a walk to the onsen bath (Satono-yu) next to the train station. The geta is very uncomfortable but quite a fun experience walking round town in the Japanese attire. Staff are friendly and helpful. We’d requested for a adapter. The reception staff initially told us they don’t have any. We tried again and show them images of adapters and they came back with two boxes of adapters for us to choose. Overall we had a fun time and a relaxing holiday at Kawaguchiya.

Perfect in all the hospitality of the staff, the cleanliness of the room, the spacious 々 rooms, and the healing space! The renewed room is especially recommended!

I was scheduled to go to a meeting with the president who was very caring for Miyazu, and I was recommended to sleep only. I also gave you a detailed description of the Go to campaign. However, there is no non-smoking room in the smallest room, and there is only one person, but there is only twin in non-smoking, and it is possible to ask for the ** chira, and it is possible to meet in two houses on the day and look at the hotel. . . I said that I just went to bed, but it's a beautiful hotel that is elaborate❕ I can sleep in Honma and anything (laughs) From the evening, I stayed overnight and ”Yukifune” with the president. I'm going to go back to Batan after a meal or a drink. . . The room is large and the view is good. The bath is small in the unit's ordinary business hotel. In the evening, the president came to pick me up and met after a long time, so I also had a good conversation at the regular sushi shop 💦 I received a ”regional coupon”. I can only use it for two days to stay, so I can use it at a souvenir shop on my way back ～～ (∀) ｲｲﾈ !! It's enough for one person to stop. I just went back to bed at the hotel, so I don't know the facilities at all (^^;

A Japanese authentic ryokan in a tiny calm seaside city. The staffs are friendly and they answered to all of our queries about the sightseeing spots nearby. Highly recommended to pre-request the room with sea view as I believe not all the rooms have such view. Great stay in overall, but the only minus point is that eventhough its a walking distance to the nearest station, there was no pedestrian until you reach the hotel, by which it was tough for those who have heavy suitcases. Not sure whether they provide pickup service or no though.

The hotel is in a good location along the ASO Sea and access from the station is also very good. It is also attractive to relax in the room, but it is also a hand to stay in the day bath and the reasonable Auberge Amanohashidate near the large bath, which draws one of the features of the natural hot spring. (Although it is a hotel subject to shareholder preferential treatment in Samti, you need 3 sheets per person (but with half board). On the other hand, if it is an Auberge, you can stay with one sheet per person) The open-air bath with a panoramic view of Amanohashidate was good.

The garden and ryokan are beautiful. The hosts were so attentive and gracious. Lovely onsen and cosmetics. Charming reading room. The food was wonderful - regional food specialties - bream, mackerel, Spanish mackerel, flounder, prawns, tiny shrimp (grilled, smoked and fresh) and pine juice. A beautiful garden. Truly enjoyed this experience.

The staff are polite and provide good service. Although they don't speak much English, they are also very enthusiastic. There are two hot spring pools that have separate times for men and women every day, so you have the opportunity to experience two different hot spring pools. The location is very peaceful and close to the seaside. It is very convenient to take a walk on the seaside. If you have time, you can also enjoy the sunset. It doesn’t take long to get to attractions or the pier.

宮津駅より徒歩で10分程かかり、天橋立へ3km程の距離があり、宮津市街地唯一のコンビニエンスストアにも徒歩で10分程度要する場所にあるホテルです。周辺環境の状況から利用しづらい印象を持つと思いますが、だからこそかもしれませんが、平日休日問わず周辺は静かで、大声でおしゃべりするような宿泊客もおらず、非常に快適に滞在できるホテルだと思います。ホテルのスタッフも一様に丁寧な接客で、気さくに声をかけてくれるものの、必要以上に距離を詰めてくるような接し方はしません。 ロビーから客室に至るまで、清潔さが保たれているのは言わずもがな、設備やアメニティも無駄が無くよくまとまっています。客室への入室時のカードキーをかざすセンサーが分かりづらい、客室の電気系統がやや分かりづらい（入口のスイッチは、部屋全体の電気系統のオンとオフを切り替えるもののようです）、バスルームはバスタブが無くシャワーのみ（且つ大浴場が無い）、という注意点がありますが、それ以外は全く申し分はありません。 1階のロビーには待ち合わせスペースの他、共用のキッチンのようなスペースがあり（シンクがあるだけで実際の調理は出来ません）、宿泊客に対し無料でコーヒーを始めとするドリンクのサービスが提供されています（全て無料です）。 殆どの宿泊客が車で利用するからか、充分な広さの駐車場が備わっている上、ホテルの目の前には高速バスのバス停があるため、京都などからの高速バスを利用してのホテルの利用も非常に便利です。 周辺は飲食店がいくつかありますが、上記の通りコンビニエンスストアはこのホテルよりやや遠いところにあります。一方でホテルの北（徒歩2～3分程度）のところにショッピングモールがありますので、食糧調達に殊更不便、ということは無いと思います。周辺環境にやや難はあるものの、ホテル自体は素晴らしく、何度も利用したくなるホテルです。 It takes about 10 minutes on foot from Miyazu Station, about 3 km to Amanohashidate, and about 10 minutes on foot to the only convenience store in Miyazu city center. The surrounding environment of this hotel may give the impression that it is difficult to use the hotel, but perhaps that is why the area is quiet on weekdays and holidays, and there are no guests who chat loudly, making the hotel a very comfortable place to stay. The hotel staff is also uniformly courteous and friendly, but they don't treat you in a way that puts more distance between you and them than is necessary. From the lobby to the guest rooms, it goes without saying that cleanliness is maintained, and the facilities and amenities are well organized without being wasteful. There are a few minor issues: the sensor to hold the card key when entering the room is confusing, the electrical system in the room is a bit confusing (the switch at the entrance seems to turn the entire electrical system on and off), and the bathroom is shower only with no bathtub (and there is no large bath). Other than that, everything else is perfect. In addition to the meeting area, there is a common kitchen-like area in the lobby on the first floor (with a sink, but no actual cooking) where coffee and other beverages are served to guests free of charge (all free of charge). The hotel has a large parking lot, probably because most guests use the hotel by car, and there is an express bus stop right in front of the hotel, making it very convenient to use the hotel by express bus from Kyoto and other cities. There are several restaurants in the area, but as mentioned above, a convenience store is located somewhat farther away from the hotel. On the other hand, there is a shopping mall just north of the hotel (about a 2 to 3 minute walk), so it's not particularly inconvenient to procure food. Although the surrounding environment is a little difficult, the hotel itself is excellent, and I would like to use this hotel again and again.

You can hunt for cherry blossoms! Morning and night Viking (perfect for me of partial food) I chose this for hot springs and these reasons. After going to Amanbashi Tachi, I made a cherry blossom hunt (reservation in advance) and checked in. The house is Rokudo, and our house is the same as another pair, but the cherry blossoms are in the cherry blossoms. cherry blossoms are sweet (laughs) It is good that the parking lot is large and affordable. The hotel is quite gorgeous and has a good management everywhere. The room is clean and large and I am very satisfied with the view of Amabashidate and the sea. Vikings were privately preferred in the morning than at night. The bath and the open-air bath were large and the staff were kind.
