The room size is just right, not too big, not too small. It has a sea view with twin beds. You can take the airport shuttle directly to the hotel. There are restaurants and a seafood market within a few hundred meters, making it convenient for getting around. The breakfast is a buffet, and it also offers a great sea view.

We love everything here! Although the room style is a bit old, but very clean. The lake view is so nice from the hotel room, most wonderful is the rooftop hot spring, this is why I book this hotel. The buffet dinner had many choices of food. Most memorable moments when fire work lights up on the ice lake! That's some activities here too!

I really enjoyed my time at the Kushiro Prince. Staff were nice to me and spoke English, room was clean and had a great view of Kushiro. Location was right next to lots of good places to eat.

February 2026, Hokkaido – The Life I've Always Dreamed Of in Eastern Hokkaido! It's been six years since my last visit to Hokkaido, and I'm finally back in my favorite place, embarking on a long-awaited journey to Eastern Hokkaido! On the first day, we decided to head straight to Kushiro and check into the Kushiro Prince Hotel for convenience with our后续 itinerary. It was about a 10-minute walk from JR Kushiro Station to the hotel with our luggage. The main issue was the heavy snow and ice on the roads. We weren't wearing ice cleats, so we had to walk very carefully. The Kushiro Prince Hotel clearly has an older, traditional style, and the facilities are quite dated. Check-in was quick, and there wasn't much interaction with the front desk, perhaps due to a language barrier? However, they did try their best to answer any questions we had. We had a standard twin room; it wasn't large, but big enough for two large suitcases. There was no separate wet and dry area in the bathroom, likely due to space constraints. I'm not sure why there was no complimentary bottled water. The hotel's main advantage is its convenient location. The Akan Bus stop is right outside the hotel to the right. Everyone was lining up early. We checked out about 10 minutes beforehand, and since we didn't want to wait outside in the cold, we ended up at the back of the line. Kushiro is the starting point of this Eastern Hokkaido trip. Our packed itinerary is about to begin, and I'm a little excited and a little nervous!

This is an older upscale hotel. My first impression upon entering was how spacious the room was, and the bed was comfortable. It took me a while to figure out the air conditioning controls, which felt quite old-fashioned but must have been state-of-the-art back in the day. A nice touch was the WOWOW Plus channel, which played foreign movies – this was the only hotel on my trip that offered it. It's a bit of a walk from the station, about 10 minutes or 1-2 stops away, but the view from the window is lovely. I'd definitely consider staying here again on my next trip to Kushiro!

The room felt a bit dated, but it was very clean. The soundproofing wasn't great; I could hear a lot of noise from downstairs next door at night. The location was excellent, and the views from the high floor were fantastic.

The room was much larger than typical Tokyo hotels, comparable in size to a standard hotel in China. Breakfast was plentiful, and right outside the hotel, there's a stop for both the airport shuttle and the bus to Lake Akan. It's also just a few hundred meters from Washo Market, which is super convenient. The front desk kindly granted my request for a one-hour late checkout. Many thanks!

This is an old, established hotel that the Emperor himself has stayed in. There was an origami crane folded by the hotel in my room. The night view was beautiful, and breakfast was also delicious.

With a English speaking in the counter is a plus . Polite and the roof terrace is an excellent view

Excellent location, just an 8-10 minute walk from Kushiro Station and Washo Market. Nusamai Bridge is also nearby, and you can catch a beautiful sunset by the port. The room wasn't small either.

The room was nice, and it's quite close to the JR station. The breakfast was good, and the restaurant had a great view.
