Whispering Sands

Our first family holiday and saddened to hear after anxiously waiting to rebook for next year on Jet2 for 2024 and 2025. We find a fantastic place and needed to rebook and hear the owners are retiring, just to guilt you. It won’t be the same once you both go. Place was spotless, food and drink fantastically priced, swimming pool well maintained, entertainment spot on. Sorry to see you go 😞

I'm not one to write reviews,but feel I have to let other people know about this amazing place,we stayed here for two weeks in July,family of 3,having gone through a family bereavement a few weeks prior to travel,we were on the verge of cancelling they holiday,I'm so glad we didn't do that and we got the chance to experience this amazing place and all its amazing staff,honestly the couldn't do enough for you,always there to help and give good advice,food was wonderful,pool area very clean and always a sun bed available,apartment's spotless,we wanted somewhere to relax and just chill out, the whispering sands thicks all the right boxes,liam Christine,Julie and all the staff,thank you all for looking after us so well,yous have helped us more than yous will ever know,see yous next year.

We booked a weeks stay at Whispering Sands through Jet2 Holidays. It was our first holiday to Turkey and the when reviewing the hotels/apartments on their website I did a bit of research. All the reviews for Whispering Sands were very positive. The other 2 musts for our family was - air conditioning for our teenage son and the transfer wasn't more than an hour or so. On arrival Liam and Christine gave us a very warm welcome and made us feel at home right away. Christine showed us to our apartment which was in Block 4 on the first floor. The apartment was spacious - 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom with a large living/kitchen/diner with all you needed for a weeks stay or longer. When we woke on Sunday morning we went out to look for a local supermarket and Julie was at the bar and greeted us and gave us some directions and information of the area. Off we went only a few minutes walk (although it's hilly for those who are not as physically able) to the local supermarket that had everything we needed. Julie even advised that the milk is not kept in the fridge but on the shelf, which was a good tip as the fridge looks like it has milk but it is in fact a yoghurt. The pool area had plenty beds, sun all day, smaller pool for young children, we loved that they played music at the pool and Hassan and the rest of the bar staff were friendly and attentive, speaking to you by name from the very start. We ate in at the bar a couple of nights during our week, this included a night of entertainment which included a Michael Jackson type entertainer, Robots and Belly Dancer. It was a shame that although the resort was busy there were only us and another family there that evening. Karaoke on one of the evenings was great too. On the Friday they have a pool party led by Julie with games. The Dolmus bus stopped right outside the apartment and took you right down to the seafront for 11 lira (roughly 30p) each way. We also asked Christine to book us into the Turkish Bath which was a lovely experience at the Charisma Hotel. We asked about keeping our apartment until we were due to depart, it was available and for £40 we didn't have to leave until we were picked up at 7.30 pm, this was a real bonus. When we departed Christine was there to give us all a hug goodbye. Whispering Sands ticked all of our boxes and we had a fantastic week. We as a family loved our week here. We came 1st to 8th July and honestly was the best holiday we have ever been on. The owners and staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and happy. Was very sad to leave yesterday. Julie, Christine and Liam were just the best. The entainment was so good. Not one bad word to say. Definitely having holiday blues already and we are looking at coming back next year. Thank you to all the staff for the best week. Had tears in our eyes leaving. So will see you soon ( sorry Julie and christine) lol 😆

We wanted a quiet getaway and that’s exactly what we got. The apartment was very spacious and well equipped so making a light meal was easy (not that you would want to eat in as the bar made great tasty food all day). The international breakfast was amazing. The staff really made this place. Christine, Liam and Julie would always stop by for a chat and to see if there is anything you needed. The bar staff were fabulous. Hash and Ozzy knew our names from day 1 and remembered the little details (like my wife liking her tea in a mug). Getting into town was so cheap and the dolmus ran every few minutes. There were 2 shops within easy walking distance for anything you needed. When we sadly had to leave the owners and staff all sat with us for a final drink and waved us off. Fantastic holiday and would return again

We booked whispering sands as a last minute week to revisit kusadasi and visit my parents who live there part of the year. This was our first stay at whispering sands and as soon as we arrived in the early hours we were made to feel like old friends!! Liam quickly escorted us up to our apartment where we could settle in. It had everything we needed for our weeks stay, fridge/freezer, washing machine and plenty of space for a family of 4! As soon as we began our holiday we were made to feel like part of the family, there was never an issue getting sunbeds in the morning, the food was outstanding in the restaurant/sports bar! The bar staff are incredible, always willing to make us whatever cocktails we fancied! The staff take so much time out of their day to make conversation and genuinely want to get to know you! It feels like such a family unit at whispering sands, such a good location for getting into town. The dolmus stopping outside the door is a total bonus! We came away from whispering sands sad to leave and hoped to return next year We will speak so fondly of Christine, Liam, Julie and the whispering sands team for a long, long time!
