This hotel offers great value for money. It's conveniently located near Kunshan South Station, about a one-kilometer walk away. The facilities are comprehensive, and I was particularly pleased with the wet and dry separation in the bathroom. Breakfast is a good deal at 10 RMB, and the variety is decent. The only drawback is that it can get a bit noisy at times due to passing high-speed trains on the nearby highway.

The hairdryer sounds like a tractor, with very weak airflow – it's impossible to dry your hair with it. What's worse, the hotel is right next to a road and high-speed rail, so you get woken up early in the morning, and there's absolutely no soundproofing. The mattress is a bit hard, and the toilet is cheap; you have to hold the flush button down forever for it to work properly. Of course, at this price, I can't really complain.

When booking this hotel I was attracted by its courtyard and antique style. We were amazed by what we saw. Walking to metro and about 7 min walk by the river to the historical Watertown. I will book this hotel again on my next trip.
