Holiday Inn Express SUZHOU ZHOUZHUANG ANCIENT TOWN by IHG

When I visited Zhouzhuang, I chose the Holiday Hotel. The hotel facilities are a bit old, but the cleanliness is acceptable. There are very few TV channels, only CCTV is available. Also, the soundproofing is a bit poor, but luckily the hallways are carpeted. The standardized amenities are decent, and the key highlight is its excellent location, being very close to the entrance of the Zhouzhuang scenic area. Overall, it offers great value for money.

The suite is spacious and incredibly clean! The bed is comfortable and the soundproofing is excellent, making for a very quiet stay. The service is attentive, the facilities are comprehensive, and the location is convenient. It offers fantastic value for money and is our top choice for family stays!

Parking was super convenient, and check-in was a breeze. The room was very clean and comfortable. All the hotel staff were warm and attentive, and the location is incredibly convenient for getting around. It's great that the room had a window for good ventilation, and there are green plants everywhere throughout the hotel, a lot of them! There's also a backyard garden behind the hotel where you can sunbathe and even find some playground equipment. Overall, a great experience!

Came here with my parents. The last time we visited Zhouzhuang was almost ten years ago. Getting in and out of Zhouzhuang can be quite a hassle, and parking is usually difficult. However, staying at this hotel completely eliminated those worries. The parking lot is huge, which I really appreciate. It's also very close to the scenic area, making it convenient for an evening stroll. A truly wonderful memory.

The location is excellent, very close to Zhouzhuang Ancient Town. There are tons of parking spaces, and the rooms are large and plentiful. It's a bit old but doesn't really affect the stay. Breakfast was good, the service was warm and friendly, and it's quite affordable.

Traveling during the May Day holiday, I looked for a branded hotel and found this one. I've always trusted the brand, so I booked it. Upon arrival, I was quite disappointed. The hotel is very old. You can see signs of wear and tear everywhere – peeling paint, water damage, and chipped paint on corners, ceilings, and in the hallways. The room's amenities like the curtains and sofa were also old, and there was a slight musty smell. The staff weren't very welcoming either. It made me question if this truly meets the Holiday Inn standard. Judging it by the InterContinental Holiday Inn brand, it definitely doesn't measure up. However, if you view it as a generic, unbranded hotel, it might be acceptable.

The hotel's location is absolutely fantastic, just a 5-minute walk to the scenic area entrance. I originally wanted to upgrade to a family room but none were available. In the end, I asked for an extra duvet and used the sofa as a single bed, which worked out perfectly. The hotel itself is large, the service is excellent, and the breakfast is abundant. Of all the hotels on this trip, this one offered the best value for money. For 367 yuan, the experience was far better than the 447 yuan I paid in Shaoxing.
