HUALUXE Kunming by IHG

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at HUALUXE Kunming. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by Jeanee, who went above and beyond to make sure everything was seamless. She stayed in touch with us throughout our trip, checking in to ensure we had everything we needed and offering thoughtful recommendations that really enhanced our experience. The hotel itself was beautifully maintained, with spacious and comfortable rooms, excellent facilities, and a calm atmosphere that made it easy to relax after exploring the city. The service across the board was attentive and professional, but Jeanee’s personal touch really made our stay feel extra special. The hot springs are an incredible feature! There were several to choose from with ranging temperatures! We would highly recommend HUALUXE Kunming to anyone visiting the area and look forward to returning on our next trip

Very clean, huge room, and great hospitality. Short ride away from the Yunnan ethnic village and Dianchi lake. Free access to the outdoor hotspring pools.

Beautiful hotel with great services.

Very good staff. Clean hotel. Good facilities. A little bit far from downtown.

1. Poor Internet Connectivity: The WiFi was extremely slow and unreliable, making it impossible to work remotely. 2. Smoking Policy Not Enforced: Guests were smoking in the lobby area near the front desk without any intervention from staff. 3. Children’s Train Ride Issues: The kids’ sightseeing train service was poorly managed - when we arrived at 1:00+ PM, we were told it only operates on the hour and to wait for the 2:00 PM ride. When I asked about the 1:00 PM departure, staff then claimed the equipment was broken. Extremely disappointing experience. 4. Food Delivery Problems: Our food delivery was already delayed, and it took an additional 30 minutes to reach our room because the delivery robot got stuck halfway. 5. Inadequate Air Conditioning: The AC failed to cool the room properly, making it uncomfortably warm, especially problematic when traveling with a young child.

Breakfast was good and the cafetaria has a nice view to the garden. the staffs were very nice and helpful. I left my backpack in the lobby by the receptionist and only realized it when we about to board the train to Lijiang. So I contacted Kaia, the receptionist, and she sent the backpack to our hotel in LIjiang. The package arrived the next morning.
