The scenery was pretty good, and the breakfast was decent too. The location was also great, and the flower arrangements were absolutely beautiful, I loved them. However, the staff weren't very friendly. Overall, it was okay.

Small rooms. They don't even provide toothbrush. Water heater makes a loud sound when on. Hot shower do not function well. But amazing view! Do they wash their bedsheets? Didn't smell fresh, smells like someone's hair

Request for quiet room but its not that quiet because the wall between the room too thin that you hear someone snoring, talking and do whatever they doing. Staff not helpful at all just give instruction on how to go to the room not really showing when there’s 2 block. Construction still going on at the back of the room. The restaurant got so many flies till i dont have appetite to finish my meal. In room so got flies. So disappointed but because of view i think its worth the price.

The hotel is a very beautiful and charming place. I booked this room mainly because can see the stunning Golden Mountain view directly at dawn. It gets quite cold at night, and the mornings are pleasantly cool. The restaurant food is good, and the staff are friendly and helpful. The only downsides are that there are a few insects at the mountaintop, which is understandable, and the soundproofing of the room isn’t great—after 10 p.m., noise from people outside can still be heard clearly.

Had such a pleasant family trip! The view, ambience, facilities, and service were all beyond awesome. Bonus: free breakfast for every room. A huge plus is that the place has its own restaurant, so we didn’t have to head out in the dark for dinner. I tried the nasi goreng tuhau and it was sedap! Prices are really affordable too. I know exactly where I’ll be staying next time I’m in Kundasang.

The residence is far from the centre. Drive can be challenging. The provided room was basic. We were placed in second building next to main building. As it was raining, this was a bit inconvenient as there is no shelter to rooms. There was no available umbrellas available. The curtains in the rooms need to be replaced as it was stained. Breakfast was reasonable. Had dinner in the restaurant on the second day. The view of Mount Kinabalu was good.

One of the biggest advantages of this hotel is the amazing view of the KK mountains. We recommend choosing the Deluxe Quadruple Room as it is much more convenient. The standard rooms are located in another building across from the main block, and the road connecting them is quite sloped and not very senior-friendly. The Deluxe Quadruple Room is a better option, especially for families or guests travelling with elderly members.

The room is spacious and clean. The hotel has very esthetic view of mount Kinabalu and the simple design of the residence and the surrounding is pleasant to the eyes. The staff has been pleasant and very cooperative in serving their guests.

My stay at H Benjamin Kundasang was memorable. The room was okay, though it could use some improvement to make it more comfortable.
