Hotels near 三寳大荒神, Kumamoto

Near the historic site but not so near to the JR station. It was a rainy day so we had some trouble moving our luggage to the JR station. The hotel itself is good. Rooms are not big but its good enough. Onsen was very crowded after dinner but there were lovely treats prepared for us.

Stayed in a room with an open-air bath. The room was clean and easy to spend. There is a tatami mats, so you can go go go. The bed is a bit hard, but it is not difficult to sleep. The open-air bath can hear the sound of the car because it is all over the city, but there is a cherry blossom and it is not visible from the surroundings, and the curtain for completely blocking is also installed, so if you are concerned, you can use it. The water was clean and easy to use. The outlet is hardly close to the floor, under the TV, under the bed, the bathroom and the air cleaner. If the charging cable is short, the tablet will be charged at the bed. If the charging cable is long, you can extend it from the TV and put the tablet on the tatami mats to charge. It was because it was a room near the coin laundry on the 3 floor, and I heard the sound of the washing machine. However, I was able to spend it without worrying about it. It is also convenient that the next door is seven eleven. I didn't use breakfast buffet because of corona. The hotel receptionist is a sister in a T-shirt, and there is no atmosphere called ”Hotel Man”, but I was able to check in and check out smoothly, and there is no rudeness. It was a very good hotel with location, newness and cleanliness.

A very nice, modern hotel in the heart of the Kumamoto shopping district - very convenient location, right at the cross section of the two major covered shopping thoroughfares. Check-in only at 3pm and is an automated check-in/check-out system. Staff are very helpful and friendly. At check-in, you are free to choose your amenities from a very wide selection, including bath salts, face cleanser, moisturizer, coffee, green tea, etc. There is a giant tv in the room. No bottled water is provided. The room offers a full robe (short yukata and pants!). The rooms itself are very modern and renovated. There are two Family Marts and a 7-11 within a block of the hotel, as well as many dining and retail options within short walking distance. It is about a 15 minute walk to Kumamoto Castle and a 30 minute walk to Kumamoto Station.

I few steps away from the station. The building looks renovated from an older one by the inside facilities are up to standards. I always love the breakfast where they include local dishes and materials.

I used the word of mouth on the first night of my trip and the super hotel in Tohoku where I stayed before. There are few places to eat out around, but there are local restaurants and hot springs. And the next morning is early, so if you go to bed early ... Well, until midnight, I can't sleep at all with the noise of several people in the next room and stressed 😱 The wall is thin enough to hear all the contents of the conversation 😢 At a Rojas hotel There is no extension phone to be careful of Ronto 😱 Stress accumulates in the voice of the aunt who is making a fuss! I protested at the front desk the next morning, but it ended with a Sumimasen and a sweet. Have you mistaken the meaning of Rojas? This is where I chose cheap or bad, but isn't it the minimum service of the hotel to sleep well and heal my tiredness? There seems to be no other complaint, so is it only the room where I stayed 々? Room 723 ❗ I will never recommend it! When I was asked by the front desk for the room number, I answered, ”Oh ...” It was a windy reaction that I knew. Isn't such a room should be used in a family room? I think 😢

This hotel is located within a short walking distance from the Kumamoto station. From the JR bstation exit it is on the left, just beside the Bic Camera store next. There is also a streetcar/tram stop so near the hotel which you can use to explore the city touristy spots! Shopping is convenient as the Kumamoto AMU Plaza (see another Review) is 5-mins walk away. The lobby is quite spacious and I quite like the intimate setting and lighting. Check-in was fast and 3 lifts serve well with travellers + luggages. The room design is quite standard and we have requested for x2 single bed, the room size is respectable. Noted that they're still using the physical hard key and not the keycard type. Hottel provided some amenities and complimentary bottled water in the room, sufficient for us . The Hotel is very into Going Green, there will be no housekeeping within first 3-days unless requested upon. This may likely be the model moving forward, to cut wastages. We had our breakfast at the nearby Pronto. The Kitaoka Shrine is just about 400 metres nearby, opposite direction of JR station so we recommend to drop by if time permits. A good stay experience. J

I stayed ２ at the end of the year. It was my first stay, but I wanted to relax and stay again. The hotel is over ９ floor, but the glass is often used and the view is bright everywhere. Creation that I have never seen before. A mechanism that cannot be put in the room key in the lodging zone. The building is a corridor style, overlooking the garden and chapel on the ９ floor, but it is lit up at night and this is beautiful again. The rooms are a bit vertical, but I was able to spend calmly. I liked my wife very much. The public bath is also like a fashionable and splendid hot spring hotel. Maybe more. There was a drum coin laundry next to the entrance of the public bath, and it was convenient for consecutive nights. Breakfast was a buffet, but the buffet on New Year's Day is a great word. When I arrived at the entrance with the service of the soup and arrived at the seat, the miscellaneous boiling was carried first. The soup was very delicious. In addition to the usual buffet, there were special dishes for New Year's Day, but there were many fresh sashimi, kazukono, shrimp, etc. There was red rice in rice. All were delicious and ate a lot. I went by car, but I went directly from the underground parking lot to the front floor and the parking fee was very good. Moreover, I think it is the best value for money in a hotel in Kumamoto City with a 24-hour parking setting. My wife started saving money because she wanted to go to the end of this year.

The room was large and stayed with 4 families, but the cospa is too good. During the Obon festival, it was crowded and some of the front desk staff were not accustomed to the beginner mark, so there was a part that was not explained enough. I went down to the front desk several times in another time zone and asked a lot, but I was very happy to teach you carefully. I was grateful that I could lend my children's pillows and towels, and there was a welcome drink and shaved ice service. When it was crowded, the washing machine was not empty, so I went to the coin laundry only for drying. Please note that the parking lot will be full depending on the time of day. I will continue to repeat it in the future.

The hotel is very new and the room is very clean. All the equipment is very friendly, and each bed has a power plug and USB plug at the end of the bed. The bathroom has a large bathtub and a toilet that is large enough for one person to lie flat. The only thing is that there is nothing near the hotel, the traffic is inconvenient, the nearest convenience store is about 10 minutes walk. Hotel for self-driving people.
