The staff are very helpful. The location was convenient for the activities planned.
Had the standard queen room. I believe there to be a mould smell which is quite well masked by the strong room freshener. The handheld showerhead had mould.
(See photo) and smells when water comes out of it.
Loved the hot water flask in the room since there was no electric kettle. It kept water hot enough for coffee even after 12hours!!! Got hot water from the central water dispenser. Photos attached.
Besides the mould found no other cleanliness issue.

Location of accommodation was easy to find using Waze App link provided by the owner. Rooms was super clean with basic amenities provided. Kitchen and the two bathroom was clean too. The place provided free parking. Security is assured. The place was also a short walking distance to the jetty point. Not only that, it was also a walking distance to eateries and other local tourist spots. It’s also a short drive to a string of seafood restaurants. Overall it was a good stay.

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for a night in Kuala Selangor during a spontaneous trip to support our friends at a football match. The hotel is conveniently located about 10-15 minutes from the town, right along the roadside.
I loved the nice and cozy interior, which added to our comfort. The hotel features a swimming pool open from 8 AM to 8 PM, perfect for a quick dip. There’s also a small restaurant nearby serving local dishes and burgers, which were quite tasty. Additionally, it's about a 20-30 minute drive to seafood restaurants, making it a great base for exploring.
Overall, we had a pleasant stay and would definitely return in the future!

Convenient location by car after the boat tour. The place looks ordinary but it provides most things required if fanciness isn't a requirement. They have a water dispenser near the lift entrance on higher floors. There's a place to eat burger at night close by as well.

It seems like they just renovated the hotel. The room is clean. The hotel provides us towels, shower gels, coffee powder and kettle.
If you have elders who have difficulties in walking, you can request staying on the ground floor but without windows.
Overall, I am satisfied with my stay.
However, my other family member's room has an electricity supply issue on the third day. The heater in the bathroom and plug in the room are not functional. The receptionist came and fixed it. Still, the room has the same problem.
I forgot to take the photo.

Cleanliness - need to be improve, there was dirt on pillow blanket, floor was dirty
Air-conditioner - it was not cooling until midnight only we feel the A/C is working.
Receptionist/staff - Staff are friendly (keep smiling) and attentive towards the request. At 1st the fridge was not working in our room, after our feedback, the technician quickly change a new one for us. Also they allowed us for early check-in since we reach earlier.
Environment/surrounding - It was nice and spacious at outside of the room. Kids friendly where they can play around.
Overall: Overall, it was a good stay since it was a quite rush stay and it is fasting month so not much facilities is open during day time.

AAmad/The hotel is adjacent to the historical Bukit Melawati area. You can walk or jog in the mountains and enjoy the morning atmosphere. Restaurants are also located near the hotel with convenient transportation. The pier to mirror the sky is also nearby.

Recommended for single travelers like me. place is safe and nice. clean but not that sound proof 🤣🤣
