Hotel Pudu Plaza Kuala Lumpur

Kuala Lumpur|0.83km from Oa Shop
The front desk of the hotel is very kind and you can speak clean English normally, so you don't have to worry about communication. At the front desk, he taught me how to use the taxi app-grab and how to make a reservation. Thanks to that, all the movement was grab and easy. It was about 6 minutes walk from LaLaport, close to Central Market and Bukit Bintang by taxi. You can drink 500 PET bottles of water, tea and instant coffee every day in the room. The room also has a refrigerator. I chilled the mango I bought and ate it. However, be careful as toilet paper and bath towels may not be changed unless they are told. There is a supermarket in the building where you can use your credit card, and it is convenient to have canned beer, dry mangoes, nuts, etc. The exchange office in the building is vacant except on Sundays. Clothing is sold on the second floor of the supermarket, but for some reason there were many men's items. There were multiple massage shops on the 1st and 2nd floors, and I went there every day comfortably. In front of the hotel, there are many Chinese restaurants and it is crowded with locals. Fruits are also sold and retailed, and there. I had them eat rambutan, dragon fruit, etc. (Because you can't bring mangostin to the hotel) Right next to the hotel is the icc market, and if you get tired of the hotel rice, you can eat delicious rice here, and local clothes in the basement of this building (light and easy to wear) Is sold cheaply. I want to stay again because the location is excellent.

Have been staying at this hotel for almost every trip to KL. Location was good for those who need food And retail therapy. Hotel is simple with minimal amenities provided. Breakfast has seen improvement in variety of food. Good job.Deluxe room do not have certain amenities such as, toothbrush, shaver. Can consider to bring back the Hotel Capitol Tote bag which used to be found in the room closet

It's the worst 4 star hotel i have ever stayed in. The hotel interior & hardware look shabby, bathroom is dark. And the cleanliness of the room is terrible (4 star Hotel ....). Ruined my wonderful travel mood with my girlfriend as she used 40min to clean the room & use our own pillow sheets. We do request to change another room, but unlucky the reception told the hotel is fully booked and don't have available room for us to change, so we forced to stay in the room for our 4D3N KL trips. The room service need to be improved. We do request 2 times rooms services (1 is call to fix the toilet bowl flushing button as no available room to change, 1 is request additional hanger), 2 times also need wait vey long time & called twice at least to get solve. Other issues in the room : TV - still old style TV, only can watch Hotel TV channel (4 star..... don't have smart TV to watch online show, can't even phone mirroring.... ) Floor - uneven Table, chairs & bed/bedsheets - dusts & stains. Bathroom - door broke, shower area dark, toilet bowl flushing button not work, wash basin edge surrounding with black stain.... Fridge - don't know what century, not interest to open and have a look. AC- not cool enough, still will feel warm (18.5DC). Impression - pay for 4 star fees, stay in 2 star room.

Stayed here for 2 nights, we book family room that facing the street. It has 2 queen bed to sleep in 4 persons. Pro: They provide mineral water, towels, tooth brush soap and shampoo upon your check in, which is good for the rate we got. Location is great, 7 eleven is next door and alor street is 5 mins walk. Bukit bintang shopping area is also bery nearby. Cons: This hotel is very dirty. We found corkcoach in the shower room, thick dust under the bed and even The bed sheet is dusty and has yellow stain when we checked in, we also found some nail art in the bed! we immediately ask them to change the whole bed sheets. I guess they didn’t even changed the sheet. They only have one type of shower: rain shower. So better bring your showercap (and they don’t provide). Bed and pillows is too softand at night sometimes it gets noisy that you can’t get proper sleep. Also note that check in time is 3 PM if you need to check in before that, they will charge you RM 10 per hour. Our toilet light bulb broken the second day. All kinds of unpleasant experiences staying here. I think I will never wanted to be back here again. I think there are some other better hotels nearby with similiar rates.

Nice place to stay. Don't get time for the swimming pool due to heavy rain. I tried the gym, and it is great, they give free towels to use. The room is old but nice. The TV also is old so cannot be used. Got bathtub. The room is spacious and great city view. The bed and room are a little bit smelly. The worker is Bangladeshi but seems nice.

All About Kuala Lumpur

Say hello to Kuala Lumpur, a dazzling city that sits at the heart of Malaysia, both geographically and culturally. It's not just the capital city but the epitome of Malaysia's rapid urban development and rich heritage. Kuala Lumpur, or "KL" as locals call it, is more than just steel-clad skyscrapers and luxury shopping malls; it's a vibrant melting pot of diverse cultures, gastronomic delights, and hidden gems waiting to be explored. Did you know that Kuala Lumpur translates to "Muddy Confluence" in Malay, referring to the spot where the Klang and Gombak rivers merge?

Kuala Lumpur Travel Essentials

Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) is your main entry point, boasting top-notch facilities and an efficient Express Rail Link (ERL) service that takes you straight to the city centre. For moving around the city, KL's public transportation is commendable with MRTs, LRTs, and taxis available at your convenience.

The city primarily uses the Malaysian Ringgit for transactions, and credit cards are widely accepted. While Bahasa Malaysia is the national language, English is commonly spoken in business and tourist areas, making it easy for international travellers.

As for visa requirements, always check the latest information with your local Malaysian embassy or consulate. Generally, nationals from various countries are allowed to enter Malaysia without a visa for tourism purposes.

The iconic Petronas Twin Towers, the tallest twin towers in the world, is an absolute must-see. For history enthusiasts, Merdeka Square and the Sultan Abdul Samad Building paint a vivid picture of Malaysia's past. Nature lovers will enjoy the lush Kuala Lumpur Bird Park, while food aficionados should not miss Jalan Alor, a bustling food street boasting a wide array of local dishes.

Navigating Kuala Lumpur's Weather

Kuala Lumpur enjoys a tropical rainforest climate, where sunshine and showers can happen in the same day. Temperatures in KL usually range from 22°C to 33°C. While the city is ideal to visit year-round, the best times are from May to July and December to February when rainfall is minimal. It's advisable to pack lightweight clothing, a raincoat or umbrella, and comfortable shoes for city exploration.
