Hotels in KL Sentral, Kuala Lumpur

i came back!! i stayed with Riveria City KL Sentral by Archos last year and a few things have changed since then. heres a breakdown; 1. decided to try my luck to see if i could get the KLCC view if i requested it, and to my surprise, the room was available! 2. check-ins are a breeze! just show them your booking via the app you book through or email and pay your rm200 cash deposit and youre good to go. a QR code is given to scan for any enquiries or request of housekeeping services. yes housekeeping services is available which is new i assume! when i was here last year, i was not informed of any housekeeping services. so the additional pros i had this time round was that QR code service! you can just contact them via Whatsapp and text your enquiry. however, if you request for a service, do remember to text them again to remind. an example, i had requested for more trash bags the night before and was told it will be sent over the next morning at 11am. it was 30mins past 11 no one came. i had plans to go out that day and i had to delay my timing. i texted them and 10mins later they came with the trash bag. so do remember to remind just in case they overlook your request! 3. same topic as point no. 2, i was also informed on where to throw the filled trash bags. a video was sent to me to direct me exactly where to dipose the bags, which is also something new! previous visit, we had to dispose our bags elsewhere and were not informed where to throw the trash bags. 4. location wise is super convenient! the Tun Sambanthan station Monorel (Monorail) is just a 5 minute walk from the hotel, and it is sheltered almost all the way to the station. that station can bring you to KL Sentral (biggest train hub transportation), to popular places like Bukit Bintang, Pavilion (Bukit Bintang station), Berjaya Times Square (Imbi station) and the new Lalaport BBCC (Hang Tuah station). these popular most visited areas are all located in one monorail line! 5. room condition wise, its pretty clean i can say. the utensils and cups were so so. the cups i got was badly stained it looked like it was not cleaned properly, so i avoided using the cups overall. broom and dust pan are provided so please use them to clean the room when you stay there! toilet was clean too, just slightly small in my opinion especially the shower area. the shower heads i got was not able to adjust or stay in a desired position i wanted, but thats okay i guess. TV is equipped with Netflix and Youtube, so use wisely and remember to log out from your account or forget the account after use! other than that, overall experience is satisfactory! i love how affordable it is, how convenient it is to get around and how conducive the room was. pro tip; try booking a stay here during the weekdays, the crowd traffic waiting for the lifts are lesser. if not, try to leave your room early or come back to your room slightly later around after 9pm, just avoid the peak hours! if not, you would be stuck waiting for the lifts like forever. will i come back? yes. in a heartbeat, i will.

Overall, the stay was satisfactory and suitable for a short trip. The room was comfortable, and the location was convenient. However, the lifts can get quite crowded dquring peak hours, so be prepared for longer waiting times. As the building is managed by multiple agents, the experience may vary depending on the unit assigned. A refundable deposit of RM100 is also required upon check-in.

The Cozy hotel is strategically located, within walking distance of KL Sentral. The room was clean and comfortable, making it a pleasant stay overall. The main drawbacks were the shower, which had low water pressure and inconsistent hot water, and the soundproofing, which could be improved as noise from outside the room was noticeable. Despite these issues, the convenient location and cleanliness make it a decent option for a short stay.

Last minute booking and the price was reasonable considering the hotel’s location. It is only a 2–3 minute walk to the KL Monorail station. There are also many eateries nearby with plenty of food options to choose from. The nearest mall, NU Sentral Mall, is within 5 minutes walking distance and offers a wide variety of cuisines, including Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Thai, Vietnamese, and many more. The room was spacious and clean, making the stay comfortable and enjoyable. Highly recommended!

”A very clean, nice, and comfortable hotel for the price. They provide dental kits, bottled water, a kettle, and coffee. Overall, it’s cozy and pleasant. The only downside was that the outdoor AC units were quite loud through the wall. Since I use earplugs, it wasn't an issue for me at night, but it would be pretty tough without them.”

Initially I thought I could give this hotel a 5-star review just by looking at its G reviews, but in fact after my stay, there are a few inconveniences I experienced that stop me from giving it a full 5-star rating. 1. Aircon compressor was terribly noisy. I booked a Deluxe Family Room, which came with 2 big beds, and was given the last room across the corridor. This room faced the back street where the aircon compressor was placed, and I can literally and clearly hear the loud noise of the compressor coming through the window. I was unable to fall asleep, so I talked to the receptionist and requested to change room. This is where I can give the hotel 5 stars for its service. Without asking any further questions, the receptionist immediately handed me a new room card, and the issue was resolved. 2. You may have seen from many photos that the hotel has a gym equipped with a treadmill. Unfortunately, the treadmill was not functioning, which was very disappointing. Looks like the gym was there for no use. I hope the hotel can address this issue. Other than the above 2 incidents, my experience with this hotel was so far so good. Especially their services, as every time you enter the hotel you will be greeted by the staff at the front desk. Room is clean, with good and modern design, comes with all the amenities, and aircon working perfectly (is cool I mean). Every floor comes with water dispenser machine. Location wise is superb. Directly beside KL sentral station (LRT, monorail etc) and opposite NU shopping center. Almost whole journey will have covered walkway, no need to fear of rain. Directly downstairs have a lot of eateries, convenience store. Also, there will be NO free parking space provided, which is acceptable for this kind of hotel. There are several public parking available surrounding the hotel but it always depends on your luck. Overall, good value for money.

Room is very comfortable, aircond and fun function well. Also, it offers multiple accomodation such as microwave (can buy ready food), keetle, induction cooker, spoon set, knife and several kitchen stuff. I think it suit more for solo travellers and backpackker since it is a studio concept. In room, u have a spot for city view. U have to climb a bit to the upper bench to see the view And what i like the most is about the swimming pool !!! I t was so nice when u get outdoor swimming pool with great view of KL. Very recommend to go there at night since u can enjoy the view and relax. Overall, it is worth for money and i’ll repeat it in future.

Loved our stay here! The multiple lifts weren’t an issue at all as they’re close together so it's very manageable. This hotel (managed by Hyatt) is beautifully minimalist, clean, and well-maintained. We stayed in the Twin Studio room which was super comfortable with great water pressure and spotless throughout. Service was excellent, and we really enjoyed the thoughtful touches like the coffee machine and complimentary local snacks (muruku, kerepek, etc.) at the lift lobby. Location is also very convenient near Mid Valley Megamall. Overall, a fantastic stay andwould definitely return!

The room is quite big but not so clean. There are some stains on the carpet. The amenities of the shower cap and soap and shampoo are put in some place. Location so good, close to nu mall, mono rail and KL sentral. The service is a lil bit slow. I need to wait around 10 minutes to get checked in. And they put me in an occupied room before I got the correct room.
