Great location and easy parking. The room is cozy with a fan, breakfast was decent, and there’s a water filter by the lift. Loved seeing the Autism Café Project by the lobby — such a nice initiative!

The room space was limited but still manageable, with just enough room for praying and packing luggage. Cleanliness and amenities were okay, though an iron board and a small refreshment corner would have made the stay more comfortable. The only downside was the slow counter service. Unfortunately, I had to wait more than 15 minutes in line after a tiring journey because the online kiosk wasn’t working. That said, the female staff at the counter was friendly and warm, which helped make the experience a bit better. Overall, it’s a decent stay for short trips if you don’t mind a bit of waiting during check-in. Breakfast is just okay.

The room is huge. I particularly liked the toilet, where bath tub and separate shower were provided. The room has a large couch and an office table as well. The body shampoo they provided was of a pleasant long-lasting sage smell which I really really liked. Overall I’m very satisfied with the room. However, prior to arrival, I kept getting notifications to ask me to do a pre-arrival check in. So I did. And my credit card got charged usd1 out of nowhere, don’t know for what purpose. Clarified with the hotel front desk but they just said it’s HQ policy??? And I also don’t know what’s the purpose of the pre-arrival check in. Because on the day itself, I still had to complete the check in process at the front desk. It’s not like I get to collect the room key straight upon arrival if I completed the pre-arrival check in. In short, I paid USD1 for nothing. Overall, you will have a delightful stay at the hotel, if you skip the pre-arrival check in and pre-check out (which I ignored).

I had a wonderful stay at VE Hotel! The rooms were clean, modern, and spacious, with comfortable beds that made for a great night’s rest. The staff were warm, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile, which made the experience even more welcoming. The location is excellent — convenient to nearby shopping, dining, and public transport, which made getting around very easy. I also really appreciated the facilities; the pool and gym were well-maintained, and the breakfast spread had a good variety with both local and international options. Overall, VE Hotel exceeded my expectations with its combination of comfort, service, and value. I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting the area and would happily stay here again!

We arrived early and they managed to let us check-in almost 1.5 hour earlier. We requested for high floor and was granted too. Staff are generally friendly and helpful. We tried the hotel breakfast too, quite alright nothing to complain about. It was raining one of the morning and both of us were woken up the by the pitter-patter sound of the rain dropping onto some metal facade of the hotel, other than that it was a pleasant stay.

Changed my preferred accommodation for my weekly meeting in KL to this place due to the Christmas hectic situation in my usual stay. Felt in love instantly. Serene. Easy to park. Close enough to shops and eateries. Spacious room. The room has good insulation as well. My neighbors mostly groups and families and the noises didn't penetrate my room. Lift was a bit hit and miss at block C. The receptionists were lovely both for morning and evening shifts..

Despite being in a busy district, our stay was surprisingly quiet. The bedding was spotless, and having a shopping mall within the building made everything super convenient. The lobby is on the fifth floor. Our room was newly renovated and in excellent condition. Highly recommended!

The location is good, with Pokok Café and Kedai KL just downstairs. I initially chose a room near the lift, but the air conditioning was old and took a very long time to cool the room. Fortunately, the staff were very helpful and quickly arranged a room change. The new room was comfortable, though I did notice a few small cockroaches around the table area.

Kuala Lumpur Seputeh Hotel Guide

As the capital of Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur sits at the heart of Malaysia, both geographically and culturally. The name "Kuala Lumpur" actually translates to "Muddy Confluence" in Malay, referring to the spot where the Klang and Gombak rivers merge. There are more than just skyscrapers and luxury shopping malls, it's also a melting pot where Malay, Chinese, Indian, and indigenous cultures meet.

Just a short trip from Singapore, Kuala Lumpur is the best weekend getaway. In under an hour, you can be in the heart of KL, enjoying skyscrapers, top attractions, and of course, delicious food!

Getting to and getting around Kuala Lumpur

Getting to Kuala Lumpur

Now that you’re excited to explore the best of Kuala Lumpur, let’s take a look at how to get to KL from Singapore and how to get around the city. Kuala Lumpur is just a hop, skip, and jump away from Singapore!

There are two main airports in KL - Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KUL) & Subang International Airport. Most travellers will likely arrive at Kuala Lumpur International Airport. From there, you can take the KLIA Ekspres or KLIA Transit trains to downtown Kuala Lumpur in 30 minutes. Many hotels also offer convenient airport shuttle services to head straight to your accommodation. It's also a good choice!

If you prefer land travel, you can also take a bus or train, both of which offer budget-friendly options. Express buses run regularly and take around 5 to 6 hours to get to KL, with buses departing from various points in Singapore. Alternatively, trains run on the ETS line, taking about 6 hours and offering comfortable seating along the way.

If you prefer land travel, you can also take a bus. Express buses run regularly from Singapore and take approximately 5 to 6 hours to reach Kuala Lumpur. Buses depart from major terminals such as Golden Mile Complex and Queen Street Bus Terminal.

Getting around Kuala Lumpur

For getting around KL, KL's public transportation is commendable with MRTs, LRTs, and taxis available at your convenience.

  • LRT & MRT: The LRT (Light Rail Transit) and MRT (Mass Rapid Transit) are two of the most convenient ways to get around. Both cover major areas in the city, including Chinatown, Bukit Bintang, and KLCC. The price starts from MYR1. You can also use a Touch 'n Go card for easy access.
  • KL Monorail: This is another great option, especially if you're heading to Bukit Bintang or Chinatown. It’s a fun way to see the city from above and.
  • Taxi: Traditional taxis are also available. Always make sure the driver uses the metre, or agree on a price before you start your journey. E-hailing on Grab is convenient, easy to use, and affordable.

Which part of Kuala Lumpur is best to stay in?

Petronas Twin Towers

After your arrival in KL, you’ll likely want to find a convenient place to stay. So choosing the right hotel in Kuala Lumpur is important. KL Sentral is great if you want to stay close to the main transport hub, where you’ll have easy connections to KLIA Ekspres and the LRT. If you prefer stating near the KL airport, it will be a good choice to catch the flights.

FFUBAOThere is no facilities in this budget hotel. But it has a Water Filtered dispenser. Hair dryer need to request from front desk but I brought my own. Suggested to bring own bath towel because the towel are yellowish. I booked Triple room, but only 2 drinking mugs and 2 disposable toothbrushes provided. Location is super convenience. A lots of eateries and mini marts surrounding. This budget hotel do not provide free parking. Park your car at DBKL provided lot and pay parking fees by Touch & Go App. which is RM1 per hour from 7.30am~6.30pm, or park at Sri Petaling Multilevel Parking Complex just across the hotel. WWan Edi SopheanI recently stayed at the Imperial Regency Suites and Hotel, and overall, my experience was quite pleasant. The hotel offered a good balance of comfort, convenience, and value. Check-in/Service: The check-in process was smooth and efficient. The front desk staff were friendly and accommodating, making the first impression a positive one. Staff were generally responsive throughout the stay, though at times service could be a bit slow during peak hours. Room: The room was clean, spacious, and well-equipped with essentials. The bed was comfortable, and the overall ambiance was cozy, suitable for both business and leisure stays. I appreciated the in-room amenities like the mini-fridge, complimentary water, and a decent-sized work desk. Location: Located strategically with easy access to nearby attractions and eateries. Great for travelers who want to explore the city or attend events in the vicinity. Overall: Imperial Regency Suites and Hotel offers good value for money, especially for short stays or business trips. While there’s room for improvement in terms of modernizing certain areas, the comfort, location, and service make it a solid choice.

FFarhana FaizuThe hotel is quite simple, and while the location is a bit remote, there's a convenient café on-site. It's advisable to bring plenty of food with you. My little sister couldn't stop praising the friendly lady at the counter who was working on January 31, 2024. Keep up the great service! Remember to bring your own toothbrush and toothpaste, and if you need an iron, just request it at the counter and they'll deliver it to your room.

딜리버링해피니스The three petaling area is a recommended place for Koreans who come or travel from other areas with a lot of restaurants and tea shops around. Orange Hotel is very conveniently located. Parking is not possible, but if you come out of the entrance and go left and turn right, you will have a public parking lot, so you should park your car there. The facilities are really good value for money. Don't want a big one. I like the bathroom water pressure so much.

I checked in a bit late at 9pm and got hungry but worry not theres a mynews, kk mart opens 24hour and an aunty shop at level 1 open till 12am where i get my late dinner there. Breakfast is super easy to get too as many shops already open as early at 10am. Grab food and public transport is accessible too. The host is friendly as i need to extend my stay she allowed me to do that and she just deduct the amount from my deposit no extra pay needed which i am glad the most. Swimming pool were spacious and kids friendly the view from the swimming pool is breathtaking. The guard were also helpful when i got lost in the parking area. NNinakayyI recently stayed at a budget hotel in Kuchai Lama, and overall, it was a decent experience. The hotel is conveniently located near banks, shops, and a variety of dining options, making it easy to explore the area. However, I would advise against checking in at night. The reception is not always staffed, which could lead to some inconvenience. During the day, the service was fine, but the lack of support at night is a concern. In summary, if you're looking for a budget-friendly place with a good location, this hotel fits the bill, just plan your arrival accordingly!
